Very very dead weekend, but those who came in came in with money.
And wow I should learn from this drugging thing I always leave my drink unattended which I know is an invitation for a really bad experience.

Saturday was bad for everyone at the club. All the girls (even our 2 uber strippers) were sitting there dumbfounded!

Nobody should EVER leave a drink unattended. Just take it with you or order a new one. When I turned eighteen it was the FIRST thing my mother taught me.

I had a killer Saturday, but I hustled my ass off. Some of the girls said they didn't do well. We were packed to the gills though.

.... I thought it was it kind of clear that I was sitting there drinking it....
I managed to find one spending money and hung near him... did some dances made a little bit of money... Sounds ok right? Not to be a bitch... but... I do have some common sense... So..um...yeah...give me a break...I had just finished my scerw driver when the weird feeling came on...
Here is what we should all be aware of.... If you drink alcohol at work, which some of us do.... it isn't enough just to keep your drink with you at all time... you have to watch it... I mean literaly focus on drinking it the entire time you have it... I didn't see anything... and my drink was in front of me... The dude was S L I C K anyway... I am usually the first person to admit when I fuck up at work. This IS NOT one of those times...
Sorry for being defensive.... but I am tired of the victim blaming... it seems to me that if you have even a sip of alcohol.. (my bac was 0.009 by the way) it is your fault if SOMEONE else breaks the law and trys to hurt you...

I wouldn't take it as victim-blaming, but more trying to advise you and others here on how to help avoid such a situation. It sucks but we have to always be on our guards in this business, so any opportunity to remind each other of that needs to be taken IMO.
My sense of justice being what it is, I think the type of guy who does shit like that needs to be hung naked in public by the asshole using a huge commercial fishhook, with a sign describing what a piece of shit he is, and all the people he victimized allowed to abuse him as they see fit.
^^ Especially considering that there's really no doubt that this slick criminal has done this before - and most likely managed to get away with whatever he was planning to do to his victim (yes, victim). Most likely he'll do it again, too. That's the one reason I wish your club could be more pro-active about getting him - it's not just about avenging what happened to you (as much as that sucked), it's about preventing what didn't happen to you from happening to someone else.
Montana, I'm so glad the worst case scenario didn't happen to you!!!

"I just can't get over how much babies cry. I really had no idea what I was getting into. To tell you the truth, I thought it would be more like getting a cat." -- Anne Lamott
Montana - I'm sorry this happened to you but between the "hung near him", "did some dances" and "finishing your screwdriver" only you knew where the drink had been. It read like the drink was down, you gave your dance, you picked it back up (from somewhere) and something went wrong. Unless you had the drink in your hand or constantly moved it around, at some point you must have had your back to it. It might not have even been the guy you were dancing for, but someone sitting near him. Absolutely NO ONE was blaming you, just saying how a person may have had the opportunity and how others (who've admitted to leaving their drinks) should be more mindful of this situation. I hope you are starting to feel better now. I googled it and it sounds horribile.![]()
I was thinking about it and you were the one victimized here so it is up to YOU to decide whether YOU want to report the crime to the police, not your club. Good luck with whatever you decide.
>gapeach: but i got lucky with a bachelor party. wait...that didn't come out right...
Too funny. With the number of weddings that occur Labor Day weekend, I'm surprised there aren't more bachelor parties, but maybe they all took place the weekend before.

I didn't say that! I wasn't even refering to you. Another girl said she left her drinks alone so I warned others.

I agree! I hate to see a criminal get away just because the club doesn't want the bad publicity, or doesn't want the police seeing the way the club really operates, or whatever their reason is for brushing this under the rug. It is really up to you whether you want to report this or not.Originally Posted by PorschaM

I am sooo sorry too hear this happened and I will be sending out revenge vibes on your behalf!! May he burn in a special circle of hell!!!

Only thing is, if she doesn't even know the guy's name (most likely not), it won't do any good to report it anyway because the cops will have nothing to go on - and her being a dancer won't give them any incentive to try.Originally Posted by xoxoGracexoxo
The other reason it's not necessarily a good idea to make a report now (thankfully it was only drugging and not worse) is because it will only draw undue attention to the club. Which tends to bring in cops to harrass the girls over bullshit instead of bringing any justice to the situation.

Well, that just sucks. I've been thinking about this all day. What if you'd been taking other medicine that had a negative interaction or what if you'd been pregnant.? You have every right to be a grump. I'm joining you 'cause this just p's me off! What did they think they would accomplish? Were they planning on dragging you out a back door or were you in a VIP room alone? I think they just did it 'cause they had nothing better to do than drug a stripper for kicks! <GRRRRRR>
PM (pulling myself away so I can calm down)

Long weekends seem to be slow everywhere. Nothing but one or two dance kings.
