That's unfortunate. Did you contact her? What about contacting ebay? What was your method of payment??

I have actually purchased from her before, and she was really helpful. I loved my outfits, always get compliments on them. She has even custom made some stuff for me, if I give her an idea of what I'm looking for.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. I think that sometimes sh*t happens. I've had that happen to me with other sellers before, insured packages that never show up even though the tracking no. says it's been delivered. I know it sucks when you don't get what you pay for.

If you bought and paid for something on ebay and never received the merchandise, there are several ways to deal with it.

If you paid via PayPal, you can file a claim with them and provided you haven't waited longer than their time limit for claims, you can get your money back.

If you paid via money order/check, you can file a claim with eBay. This may be less effective in getting your money back, but it will put a bad mark on their seller account - if a seller racks up too many bad marks, they get their account suspended/cancelled. You can also do this even if you make a claim with PayPal.

And there's also the feedback. If you have tried to contact the seller and gotten nowhere, you can leave negative feedback on their account. It may not count for much if they have a ton of positive feedback, but it does make some difference. If people would be diligent about leaving feedback it makes a big difference in whether other buyers decide to buy from them or not.

    - Report an item not received

    - Buyer protection info

I did this when I had stuff not show up. Because the seller was able to provide a tracking # (which altho it said it arrived, there was no signature upon delivery) and the tracking # said it was delivered I was outta luck and my money.

If this is the case, there's really nothing you can do because the seller obviously shipped a package to you so ebay/paypal can't make them ship another. Then it's a case for the shipping company and you will have to take it up with them. Sometimes delivery drivers leave packages outside and then it gets stolen. I have had my own packages left outside by FedEx / UPS

I once shipped something a family member, the driver left it outside and their dog ate it

The only way to fully ensure that you either get your package or get your money back if not received, is to cough up the extra dough to not only get the package insured, but also REQUIRE A SIGNATURE UPON DELIVERY, and get your seller to add those services to the shipment. You could also tape a sign on your front door when you're expecting a shipment telling the driver to PLEASE DON'T LEAVE IT OUTSIDE.

Most buyers want the cheapest shipping possible, but that is the best way to get your stuff lost because then it is not tracked or accounted for by the delivery company, and either unscrupulous employees or neighbors can take it and you can't do a thing about it. I won't ship anything First Class Mail anymore because of this, and I prefer UPS with signature confirmation (this costs more though, and most buyers don't want to pay for it ).

I saw that the user in question has one negative feedback against them. Is that you tootsie? If so, they posted the tracking number in the response. Once a seller ships something, their legal obligation is over if they can provide proof of the delivery. What have you done to contact the seller to find out what the tracking number is? Assuming they shipped it and there is a tracking number, there is little you can do and it's also unfair to get mad at the seller because they did their part. If they refuse to give you tracking information or proof of shipping, then file a complaint with PayPal. PayPal will then require the seller to document the proof of shipment and if they are unable to do that, PayPal will refund you your money.

^^Did you try any of the suggestions I posted above? Have you tried contacting the seller to ASK what's happened? How long ago did you buy the item? Please tell me you're not just sitting on your couch hoping it will arrive and bitching to us that it hasn't...

I don't know how long you have to file with Paypal but I have done it once and got fast results. I received the wrong item once and contacted the seller immediately and let them know. They responded with an email asking me what I had received (the style # and such), once I responded to that I never heard from them again. I sent another email about a week later asking them to help me resolve the issue by a certain date, and again got no response. I filed with Paypal on that date and my money was refunded the next day and the seller shipped out the correct item. I firmly believe in trying to resolve the issues, use the avenues available to you. So far it's worked. And I think most of the sellers are trying to get it right.

If you paid through Paypal unless the seller can prove you got it (delivery confirmation etc) they'll work to get your money refunded.

Did you start the dispute process with paypal yet? What is the sellers delivery terms? Like, does she say that she mails out within 3 days, etc? Another thing, it *is* a holiday weekend, perhaps that is contributing to the holdup?

What good will bitching to paypal do? Alot, because if she truly never mailed your stuff then paypal will reverse the payment and credit your account. It's really not hard, just a bit time consuming because you have to wait for the seller to respond. I would just file a dispute with paypal.

eta: I just noticed you ordered it in July. Why the heck have you waited so long? I'm not sure but I think you have to file a dispute within 30 days. Maybe 45.

eta again: judging from her feedback, it looks normal for her to seriously lag with her shipping.

Yes, if you paid with paypal, go ahead and file the dispute with them!! If she can't provide a tracking number that shows the item was shipped and delivered to you, paypal will reverse the charges and give you a full refund.

If she CAN provide a tracking number with delivery confirmation, then you need to file a complaint with the post office, UPS - or whoever she used for shipping, saying that you never received the shipment.

Posting on here isn't going to get you what you want - well, except we can tell you how to get the problem solved...but you still need to follow through.

I hope you get your stuff or your money back.
