Has anyone ever heard of Tom Leykis or listen to him regularly. Im curious what SW members opinions of him are.

Well, people have told me I am soooo smart for not getting married.
But I do think he can be a little over the top there.
He definitely is a symptom of men contemplating how to protect themselves from a society that has allowed women to exploit them these days.
(I can tell this is gonna be a good thread!)
They used to have him on talkradio here, but not anymore. If men grew some balls and hadn't become such huge weeping vaginas, this wouldn't be a problem.
But why don't we just blame all of those evil, evil conniving manipulating...yet strangely alluring and hard-on generating women!

Which is fine for the entertainment value of it, but these little men follow him around like little sheep. It's annoying.

Like most good shock jocks, there's a little truth behind all his rants.
And, he's definitely a sign of the times. The pendulum of power and control over their lives and happiness men are willing to grant over to women hit it's apex and is starting to swing back towards something more realistic.
Leykis and his followers are a good slap in the face to the women who've exploited the system and societal norms for their benefit.

i agree a 100%. i think that what tom says is 99% true and a big mistake that people make is that they take his generalizations literally and when he say "woman" or "all women" . he has made it a point to mention on his show on several occassions that he speaks on the general rule not the exception. i think that his show emulates life in the simple fact that people just cant handle the truth of things, whether its in the context of a talk radio show, or a real world situation, ie. realtionships ect....
I used to listen to him back when I lived in Seattle. Could really only handle him in smaller doses, usually because of the complete idiots that would make it on the air, calling about their relationship issues. I could only stomach so much of that before reiterating basically what Kat said about too many men lacking testicular fortitude.
Idealism is fine, but as it approaches reality, the costs become prohibitive.
