Default Thinking About A New Style

Okay, all my shoes are this style

It's the most comfortable for me. However, I need a new pair of shoes and I'm looking at these

What do you guys think? They're both Pleaser (my favorite brand!) and 7". I'm wondering if the second pair would feel more secure or even pad the top part of my foot with more grip for when I climb.
If you think school is hard, try being stupid.

I had these ones for like 8 months:

They're great. They have an extra strap over the top of the foot so they never try to slide off. I don't know how you can deal with those ankle straps! I had a pair with those once and I could barely wear them a week... I kept losing balance, and sometimes I took them off for dances (it's nearly impossible to stand on the couch without breaking your neck), I had to deal with the stupid buckles all the time. I much prefer the slide-on kind :-)
