Default A very simple trick to help you sell

I have noticed my money increase greatly the last few weeks as I speed up my hustle, and one little act in particularly seems to help a great deal.. simply offer your hand as you close the sale! Not in the "let's shake on it" sense, but the "take my hand and come with me" way. Here's an example from last night, when I turned a guy who wasn't tipping the rack and looked too cute to buy dances into a buyer:

[talking about the club and our interests for 1.5 - 2 songs, he starts gushing about snowboarding]
Me: Isn't that dangerous? [girly giggle]
Him: Well, I've had [lists a ton of injuries]. I'm pretty bad to myself.
Me: [playful look and sexy voice mode] Well, maybe you are, but I know I can be good to you.
    Him: Really?
Me: Yes, let me show you. [holding out hand]

At this point he gladly took my hand and I just brought him back to the dance area. Almost everyone will take your hand and follow at this point. Just think of how rude it is to us, as a culture, to reject a handshake.. people have a genuine aversion to NOT returning that gesture.

As you're closing the sale and offering your hand, remember to look down at it as you gracefully unfurl your fingers, since he might be staring into your eyes too dreamily to notice it otherwise.. he will follow your eyes and see that warm, super-confident, "come hither" body language an open palm presents.

how would you do it if you don't have a dance area? like if you're giving table dances where the customer is already sitting? i'd love to be able to use this!

I think the thing that works with this is that you're 'assuming the sale' or whatever it's called. If I have a customer wavering I'll stand up and push in my chair and half turn to while looking at him expectantly. They basically always follow at this point. It's like there's something psychological about naturally standing up and following someone from a table when they instigate and expect you to.

For table dances you could probably refine it by standing up when a new song starts and saying something like "now we can get going with the fun stuff" if you've already introduced the dance idea.

Good idea, I'll try that one!

My 'assuming the sale' moves usually backfire; I guess I need to refine my style a bit. I think I come across as impatient or something.

Yea, I use this on really drunk guys, guys who are hesitant, and really annoying guys that had better get a dance because they were really annoying to talk to. Works better when its busy and if you lose the sale for being too pushy, there are tons of other guys to go to.

I just take their hand as I ask, then let o and get up and lean in to hear their response. This is a yes about 90% of the time, but if it's a "no" I say something like 'Well, the night is young, so I'll try to come back. But, I'm pretty popular, for good reason, so this might be your only chance. Are you sure you want to miss out on a fantastic dance" This gives me a yes in, I'd say 8% of that 10% who said no, the rest aren't worth my time!

And when do you stop acting cute and ask for the cash ? It kind of sounds like you could be setting yourself up for a guy to be pissed or not pay . I dunno I would be happy to have you tell me I am wrong and why ?!?!

They all know they are supposed to pay. I have only had one guy throw a fit - a very young, very hot blonde kid who I'm sure was just trying to manipulate me.. but I don't think it was related to the hustle tactic, because young/hot guys are always asking for free dances anyway. At my first club, a good looking and very manipulative customer once asked me for a dance, then two more.. then acted like he thought the second two were free, saying things like "I thought you were so nice, you're not like the other strippers."

Those were the only two times in my almost-year of dancing that anyone has tried to pull the "I thought you were GIVING me dances!" act, and one didn't even involve hustling at all. They both knew that dances weren't free; they just get off on manipulating newbies or "nice" looking girls. These guys with entitlement issues have been discussed in other threads, and they will act the way they act no matter what. You just have to learn to not let them make you feel bad or "greedy" for doing your job and tell them to fork over the money.

Every other guy at my club who's been sold on the "take my hand hustle" has either just given me the money as he normally would, or, if he's new to the club, simply asked about the price before paying. I also sell more repeat dances in general when I use the hand technique, especially when I extend my confidence with lines like:

"You don't want me to stop now, do you?" Of course he doesn't.
"I'm just getting warmed up. Let's keep going!" Makes him want to see what I'll do next.
If you notice him wavering, like he's about to say no, don't stay silent! Interject with "Let's do one more," with a big smile. This almost always keeps him there for another song. Maybe he was thinking about his budget, but "one more" sounds pretty reasonable to the brokest of men when they're horny.

Badpixie, that's great advice to say "one more" when they are hesitant. I do that all the time too. What also works is the "non-hustle" too. I also say something like, "I'd love to continue dancing for you because I'm having fun, but it's up to you." I have never had a guy stop after that. I think they appreciate that it looks like I'm not after their last dime.

Ive been trying the give out my hand thing and true to the Vancouver doorknobs that frequent stripbars here, they have all proceeded to look at my hand, look back in my face and look at me blankly.

Izabella, I lvoe that method, they basically sell themselves! I use it all the time in our VIP, after the first hour or two, when the hostess asks if we are staying...I look at the customer and say "Oh I am having so much fun with you! I'd lvoe to stay with you more, but ofcourse it is completely up to you" (insert batting eyelashes and a big smile here)

    It seems to do wonders!

And on the looking blankly at your hand part....hehehe, my lil imagination would have popped off with womething like...
"It's called a hand darling, look there, you have two of them!"

Taking their hand gives them a little of that "touch" that they are just dying for. Great idea!

Agreed. One aspect of this that is mostly just hinted at in these posts is that in these approaches you are touching, leaning in, etc.

From a customer standpoint, this makes a huge difference. If you keep a little too much distance -- outside the "zone" -- I tend to focus more on words and conversation. But when you cross that line to a more intimate distance a whole bunch of other connections start to happen, and the pitch is a lot more powerful.
