before you do anything else, go and check out the clubs in your area. find one you think you might like to work at. ask if they're hiring.
wow that was quick lol. the clubs around me dont want my look. im too different so I got no idea where else to start!
Hi, welcome to the forum!
Well there are tons of useful threads here if you browse around you'll probably find alot of info. For starters probably visiting a club or two if you havent already is a good idea to get the general idea of what goes on and what to wear etc.
There should be reviews of some Melb clubs in the clubs and reviews section as there are a few Melb girls here.
Once you've found a club you want to work in either call them or go in and ask about working and they'll give you the run down on the rules and what to do etc.

Just tone your look down a little. There are a couple of threads related to this. Two of them are called "Stand out or blend in?" (I think!)Originally Posted by gothic_kittie

I live in brisbane and the goth look is big here - if you're a teenager. You're most likely going to get the young guys with no more or IF YOU'RE LUCKY the rich guy who wants to be spanked. You really DO need to tone it down to make any money.
Try doing private shows. BDSM would love you.![]()

I used to be a fairly full-on goth before getting back into the industry last year. I was offered first shifts by a couple of places, but both asked me to come back when I'd 'lost the goth look' by the end of the night. I realised I had to tone it right down for work, did so and returned to the club I wanted to work at, this time without a hitch.
I'm in Melbourne also. If you don't mind upper body touching, I recommend the Kittens clubs (though not the Frankston one). If you'd prefer a no-contact club, you could try any along the King Street strip, though be aware that these clubs are pickier in who they'll hire (as well as much stricter in terms of house rules such as what you can wear on the floor) than suburban clubs like the Kittens trio are.

P.S.- I've heard that Dallas Dancers will hire alternative-looking girls, though I've heard mixed reviews in terms of earning potential there. Also, they may still ask you to tone it down- I'm not sure as to the degree of 'different looking' they'll accept.
