You might be drying it out with all that activity. Just wash it once a day with some Clearasil wash, and leave it alone otherwise, and I bet it clears up in a week or so. If you dry your skin out, it makes extra oils to compensate, and the oils trap dirt and make pimples.
I have a friend who has that same problem. She was wondering if proactive would work on it, so I guess the answer is no. My problem is pimples on my legs. I just wash with clean & clear but it doesn't seem to be doing much.

Tea tree oil maybe?
Fools laugh at others. Wisdom laughs at itself...Osho
I hate to recommend it, but tanning...

Alcohol on it after each stage.
They're called 'stripper ztis' for a reason.

Those are probably ingrown hairs. Happen a lot if you don't shave often enough and wear something like pants or pantyhose over your legs- causes the hair to be pushed back into the skin.Originally Posted by Danielle_

It's from the stage. That's why I say alchohol on your bum after every stage set.

i had ass pimples until i took the advice from SW in a thread somewhere..
get a box of fresh-wipes (big plastic container) and a whole bottle of witch hazel..dump the entire bottle into the box and wipe your ass every second you get while at work..
just like lilithmorrigan said..after every stage set, after every private dance, etc..etc..
If it's not from exposure to bacteria, it could be irritation bumps from grinding in high contact dances. If this is the case, you need something to calm irritation. Try desitin, the stuff for babies' diaper rash. Apply it nightly after work and a shower.
Girls! I need other reasons. I'm not dancing right now. I've mentioned this in some other threads, but I've been working only a desk job for almost a year now. I'm getting back in shape and letting some conventions (for my co) finish and starting to dance again end of sept.
The only action my butt is getting right now is from wearing express pants and sitting at a desk in Rockefeller Center for 10 hrs a day!
I tried tee tree oil last night. Looks like the bumpiness went away a little, but it's red and irritated now.
Any more advice??
I'm gonna go buy that Destin stuf today. My convention is in Vegas for all next week (how I WISH I'd have enough time to dance a night, I worked twice at SR there). So I'll try to treat it like the rash. I'm planning on starting again two weeks after getting back. I'll have enough to worry about without bumps on my bumps...
Then your bumps are probably zits forming from constant sitting position, which probably accumulates a lot of sweating. Add to that the fact you sweat and still sit in those pants, so the bacteria can build up.
Tanning, i have the same issues, and it is the only thing i can find to work. (for my legs and behind)

I've used acid peel regularly on my bum with great results!
Don't know if this is tmi or not... but I bought bionic blast from benefit. It's a scrub with salycic acid in it. That worked...
On a stripper site, it seems nothing classifies as TMI![]()
Long shot - but you could wear all cotton pants to work - just to get as much breathability as you can.
I used to breakout on my rear end a lot when I first started. I tried several things to get them to go away. The only things that worked for me were that I stopped using lotion on my butt and I started using Clean and Clear deep cleaning astringent once or twice a day. I rarely have a problem anymore.
I have the same problem but with the legs. Its funny cause i would use self-tanner and it would clear up. When i forget to reapply (like 2 days), they come right back. Dont know why but now you'll never catch me missing a day.
Kiehl's blue astringent herbal lotion. You can get it at Neiman Marcus or online. I swear that stuff works for everything from razor burn to acne. Seriously. Anytime I have had stripper bumps or shaving irritation, this stuff clears it up overnight. It's awesome.

I had them intill I began exfoliating with a sea sponge. I still have the occasional bump or two, but a huge improvement.
I have found that lotion works for me. If my butt is dry it gets irritated and lotion kindof puts a barrier there that keeps it from getting irritated. But if you do have a big ugly one or a couple after a shower us the Bikini Zone stuff it takes the redness and a bit of the swelling away. But keep it on hand because throughout the night it could get irritated again so keep it close til its gone.
Thanks for all the input everyone!! My benefit stuff is working great, but I'm going to go get the kiehls stuff and try it my never ending razor burn.
