Default Best way to prepare for photo shoot?

*I did see last years similar thread, but was hoping for some fresh answers. THX*

So I'm having some promo pics done next Saturday. What can I do to prepare? I've already been working out like crazy and eating healthy. But now with just a week to go, what are some extra measures I can take? I know I eat too much salt, how much should I have? BTW I'm 5'2/106 And yes all drinking should be out. (except water I mean) What about fruits and veggies? I read in a fitness magazine, this one girl won't eat any fruit right before a show, what's that about? And veggies are they bloating at all? Water pills? Protein shakes? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

I didnt eat anything for 12 hours before my shoot. I took water pills(yes I ended up finding them TM lol) and lax... it helps get rid of any extra bloating. Avoid anything that causes bloating... ie caffiene, acidy foods(fruits) and pastas... when you wake up the morning of just drink water.. if you feel you need something in you "Boost" works wonders.

TigersMilk is the queen of this... take her input seriously when she posts it(and I know she will)

Sodium RDA: 2400 milligrams or less.

At least 3 days before a shoot I like to lax and take water pills*. Eat lean meats, salads, and veggies and very little carbs. I tan 2 days before so the tan has time to set and not rub off on things like the set or clothing. I also like to workout the day of the shoot doing cardio and a good wieght training session. Drink nothing but water. Tea is ok, no coffee, and no diet soda. Get plenty of sleep the night before.

The thing on fruit well eat things with a low GI value: http://www.glycemicindex.com/ <<list found there. A low value is below 50

(*Disclaimer: if you have previous problems with your digestion system I dont recommend these. Drink a ton of water like 2 liters so you dont get constipated. Dont do this long term or it will mess up your guts. I like the chocolate exlax myself.)
