Default Ugly rash-please help me get rid of it!

I've developed this really ugly looking rash on my chest, shoulders, and right below my armpits. I think it might be from tanning, but I've been tanning pretty regularly for about 7 years and this is the first time I've ever had any skin problems. However, the place where I go tanning just put new bulbs in all the beds-so could that be what is causing me to break out? I have lots of little red bumps that kind of look like zits. I'm attaching a picture so you can see what it looks like. My webcam sucks, but I want to give you a general idea of what the rash looks like. How in the heck do I get rid of it? I have to work in 2 days and I want it to go away. Thanks in advance for your help!

get some hydrocortisone cream at the drug store and put it on a couple times a day. it could be bacterial though and may need antibiotics

You may be right about the tanning beds. Switching birth control pills could cause it. I got a similar reaction which left scars that took months to disappear

^^^I'm not on birth control pills (or any birth control for that matter), so that can't be it. It's most likely from tanning, but I'm not positive. Thanks for the help so far-I'll go buy some hydrocortisone cream tonight. Any other suggestions?

Looks kinda like heat rash. I really like Aveeno products for skin rashes. The baths are soothing and stop any itchiness. Tea tree oil might help get rid of it quicker.

You might have picked up a skin infection from the tanning bed or somewhere else. It looks like it could possibly be impetigo, which is a highly contagious staph infection that can be treated with antibiotics but can be lethal if left alone (it will spread to your internal organs over time). See a doctor.

Believe it or not, Benadryl cures most every rash.

Yes,get some of hydro. cream like ^ she suggested.
I had a rash on my chest and belly last month from laying out too much or from chlorine.I think its from allergic reaction to the uv rays.(from what i looked up on the web when I had it)It itched but yet kind of stung.-Maybe from a bit of sunburn?I dont know.
But what will happen after it starts to heal your skin will peel if its anything like what I had.I wouldstay out of the sun and tanning bed for a few days or cover up the area.
