    Default Calcium Deposit

I have a calcium deposit right under my left ear and I'm starting to get really self conscious about it. Its small but definatly noticable and I was wondering whether anyone knew of any makeup tricks to help hide it. Thanks

I've gotten those occasionally on my eyelid. At least, I think that's what they were. I finally got tired of it after months and months of it being there so I put a clean needle into it and started trying to squeeze it like a zit. It puffed up from the aggravation, and then became a zit and then everything came out later on. Now I have a couple on my eye bag but I don't want to do the same thing : (
Go ask how much for a dermatologist to take care of it.

I had one on my foot. A masseuse was able to get rid of it for me. Broke that baby right up. I am not sure if a masseuse would be of much use on a delicate area such as the ear though.

What are those? What do they look like? Are they like skin tags? I have one of those under my arm, its my friend, I named him Gregory the skin tag.

They look like little whiteheads, but they're not.

I have one under my right eye. I had originally though it was a white head and spent hours trying to pop it, only to be left looking like I got punched (just without the black and blues).

Go see a dermatologist. Mine told me not to get rid of it unless it gets bigger or starts annoying me.

Do you mean you have a milia
, like a hard bump under the skin? go to a dermatologist- they'll be able to lance one right out. I've done it for myself and my friends.

I don't have any health insurance so I'm not sure if I want to go running off to a doctor and paying lots of money (just out of curiousity, do anyone know how much is would cost?)

Even most health insurance won't cover removal of many dermatological problems that are only cosmetic in nature. For instance, back to Gregory the skin tag; since he doesn't have cancerous potential, I would have to pay $200+ to take him out. Since I don't dance anymore, it doesn't matter, I'm not raising my arms everyday for a living. But if I was still stripping I would have had him removed....

My tip: make friends with a kind and generous doctor, they can do lots of those things for you.

In honor of Katrine, I will name my next skin irregularity "Rasputin."

I had a calcium deposit on my ear & I just kept massaging it until it broke up. Or lance it & your body will push it out.
