Exactly why this thread belongs in SG, not Customer Conversation.

Once again I have embraced my addiction and have put off the moral dilemma to another day.

There's a rare syndome known as trimethylaminuria. It's caused by the body's inability to produce the enzyme that breaks down trimethylamine when eating fish. The trimethylamine is then secreted through breath and sweat, causing the person to smell distinctly fishy. People with this condition should consider avoiding fish in their diet, unless they want to go through life smelling like old fish.
The amine that these people cannot break down is, unfortunately, in variety of plant and animal foods, not just fish. The foods can be avoided, but it seems that those with the disorder may not even know they have it. There was just an article in the news about this the other day: http://abcnews.go.com/Primetime/story?id=2287206&page=1. Kind of sad.

But yeah, the OP's guy could have just had dick cheese, because apparently trimethylamine is found in all sorts of decaying/diseased matter and causes the fishy smells in bad breath, vaginal infections, and a medley of other fun stuff.
