    Default Selling VIPs

I am a newbie (under 2 months) but I have been doing pretty well selling dances. I would like to turn it up on my hustle and push more VIPs, but I am wary of going back there. The bottom line is I do not feel safe with the customers that do want to go back there...so I don't push it. Most of the girls that I see going back there that are clean girls have been doing this for several years at least, so I am sure that they have learned how to handle themselves. The newer girls tend to A) Do extras or B) Come out crying with a customer that wants his money back.

I am not going to do extras, nor am I going to pretend to in order to sell the room. The price ($300 the half hour, $500 the hour) may be a bit on the steep side for our blue collar base of regulars that make up the majority of business now, but I know in season that dynamic will change. So the time to learn is now.

So how do you really make it through the VIP? Your honesty is greatly appreciated.

    **I have to add:
The VIPs are rooms in the corners of the clubs where there is no traffic going by and no one can really hear you if something happens. Not that I would trust a bouncer to do anything for me if I really needed it...but they aren't really around that area anyway. I have been there before, but never by myself.

    Sunnie,
I don't know exactly how your VIP is laid out, ours is very out in the open but still set back from the rest of the club. But either way, it is all about your attitude and how you approach the idea of VIP.
I feel in my experiences that if I have used hints at "more and exciting" thigns that will happen in VIP then that is what they want, and expect. But, if I present myself as an exciting person period, and take control of the situation before we even leave the main floor I have found that they go with the flow more often than not and are willing to let me call the shots.
It may sound.....snotty?....but I find that they are just excited to be up with me period, and whatever happens is just a perk of sitting in the "special section".

You will always run into a guy who wants more than he is allowed to get, it will happen. But keep in mind that when you meet THAT guy on the floor, and you KNOW he will be a handfull in the VIP, you may want to pass, unless ofcourse you feel it is worth the money to put up with his attempts.

I make it my goal to be in the VIP room every night I work. and I have run into PLENTY of characters....but in most cases if you establish control and set the tone right away, I have found it easier to keep them around without becoming uncomfortable.
    Good Luck to you!

If you don't feel safe, don't do it.

I've worked in clubs in which I felt totally comfortable in the VIP area because they were somewhat open rooms with people/bouncers walking by every now and then. I took customers into VIP all the time, even when I was a newbie, and it was a blast for both of us.

I've also worked in clubs in which the VIP areas were tinted, glass-walled booths upstairs off in a corner where no one ever goes, and no one could hear a shout for help. No amount of money could or did convince me to go into one of those places with a horny, slightly drunk stranger. No effin way.

Your safety should always come first in this job.

I agree...I am making enough money with LDs, stage show, etc during slow season to cover expenses, save and have fun with so I am gonna stick to what works right now. Thanks, this was what I needed to hear.
