    Default Is there any way?

Is there a way to train eyebrows to grow in a certain direction? I'm growing mine in for a thicker, more exotic look, but I've got a lot of hairs that have started growing downwards, and the hairs that are growing in closer to the bridge of my nose look like they are reaching to try and be on the whole other eyebrow. Some of the old hairs wont even grow back at all. Can this be fixed?

You can't really "train" hairs. It is hard to say without seeing your brows whether you could obtain the look you want, but I am sure you could probably get something close to it. A brow pencil always helps. My advice is to go to a really great esthetician that does brows. Don't go to the cheap asian place. Go to a nice spa and tell them what you are trying to do. She will get your brows shaped to start growing the way you want. And then all you have to do is follow the line she created to maintain them yourself.

    Just my .02 cents

See, My shape was really nice. I have an obsession with great eyebrows. It's just that I looked so "All- American" with the nicly shaped thinish eyebrows, but now I want something more ethnic and exotic looking.

My mother is Hungarian, and my father Isreali, so, I had slightly thick brows to start with, but years of plucking, waxing, and threading has made the hairs more fine and sparse. Not to mention, the parts that ar eusually removed have started growing back in all kinds of wayward directions. I want to have thick, beautiful brows again! My thin ones looked great, but I want that extra special look that makes people wonder where you are from.

I hear what you are saying. I love the look of exotic brows. I hate it that girls always want the thin ones. Ugh! Maybe if you give it time, those hairs will grow back, but you may have damaged the root with all the hair removal. Patience.

I also hate when ethnic girls such as asian, hispanic, or arabic descent start to highlight, bleach or lighten their hair. Maybe I think the grass is greener on the other side, but I think there is nothing sexier than shiny, thick, black hair. And add those exotic brows to boot...Mama Mia!!!

^^^ Hmm, I certainly dont bleach my hair for any reason other than I like changing my hair colour. I do agree that shiny thick black hair is sexy though - it's just not for me (-:

Eyebrows - I dont know if theres much you can do in terms of training them to grow a certain way. Im sure it would take alot of patience where-as it could be a whole lot easier to look into electrolosis and eyebrow tattooing. Gary Glitter claims that he trained his eyebrows to grow that way, but Im not sure how long he claims it took, lol.

You could try a dab of hair gel while they grow.

Yep hair gel on a clean and I do mean CLEAN wand used for mascara. Get an old mascara wand and just use it only for your eyebrows.

Or you can buy the stuff thats clear mascara in the drugstores. works like a charm.
