    Default piercings, yay!

I'm revisiting my immature years right now, I quit my (non-stripping) job, foiled my hair hot pink (ends up looking red or pink depending on the light) and now it's on to body mods. Yay!
Just got my nipples redone. For all those wondering, it is sooooo much worse the second time around and scar tissue makes a crunching sound when you push a needle through it.
At any rate, I want to artistically improve my body, namely through using steel. I was wondering about the acceptability level of surface piercings. I'm seriously considering getting my hip bones accented,
And I would really like to add on to my navel piercing (only have the standard horizontal right now.
I'm not considering anything on the face (I do still have to go on job interviews) or below the belt (I have sex waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too often to take time out to heal). I just like the idea of having something different, something that would make my appearance match how I feel.

Opinions? Experiences? Dire Warnings of Poor-Stripperdom awaiting me? I already did a search, but there wasn't much on surface piercings. Anything would help.

I think the links you posted look really pretty! The only problem I'd be worried about with the hip piercings would be clothing catching on them and bikini straps, hipster shorts and such maybe being unconfortable depending on the cut...

Ouch, that's all I have to say. I think those hip thingys would hurt especially doing lap dances and such not to mention wear and tear from everyday life. They look pretty though! Also remember surface piercings have a higher chance of being rejected by your body. This might leave you with a nasty scar down the road. I support you whatever your decision though. Hope this helps!
