Default Can you help me find a cheap audition outfit?

OK I posted about wether or not to buy an outfit.

    NOW I need an outfit.

Can anyone find me a a really cheap outfit and shoes? I wear a size 10 shoe and my size is like a Jrs 11 (big booty....) and medium/large top.

I dont like frosty looking things (feathers and light baby hue colors) I am way more of a black, red and animal print type person. Though I can deal with a simple pair of clear shoes. I just was hoping you guys (the pros) could find a good deal online. I would like everything by the weekend... So hopefully it will ship in time.

    Thanks again!

Ultra cheap outfit = go to superwalmart and get the little black skirt with garter straps on it for like $7. Then go to local dancewear store and find a cheap/on sale black bikini or tie front top.

I dance in RI and I've been to one store in the Boston area, Krystel's on route 20 in Shrewsbury. They've got a pretty good selection of shoes and clothes and they do have sales a lot. Hope that helps, there's probably more near you but I shop in Providence so I wouldn't know.

Go to several clubwear stores in your area and check out their sales racks. Ask them if they have dancer discounts. If they ask where you work, tell them you work at the club you will be auditioning at. Dancer discounts on average run between 10-20% but do not apply to sale items.

How much money do you have to spend? You will need a t-back which could run $10-$15, and a short dress, which you may be able to get on sale.

Look at the Leg Avenue brand packaged outfits. Depending on the store, they run around $19-$25 for a short dress. Make sure the dress is not see through, or depending on the laws where you work, you may need a bikini top. If it isn't see through, you won't.

With a dancer discount, you should be able to get a pair of clear 6 inch heeled shoes for $35-$40.

$65-$80 should get you started, and once you are hired, you can buy several new pieces each week.

On line sites are not always the cheapest. It is very important to visit EVERY costume store in your metro area, and get familiar with their pricing, sale racks, and dancer discounts. I find a lot of things at good prices by visiting dancer stores in EVERY town I pass through while driving across country.

I often find cute name brand lingerie sets for super cheap at discount department stores like Ross and Marshall's. Do you have those where you are?

Cool, now you just need a sexy little black skirt or wrap or booty shorts and shoes.

You could buy from other dancers selling there stuff. Someone at the club you are looking at probaly has stuff thats how i got my first couple things as a stripper. I don't personnly recommend the marshells bra and panti set you will look to obvoisly new its pretty tacky.
