    Default "that's way too expensive!"

i've gotten into a no-go rut when it comes to selling v.i.p rooms lately. when i explain that our rates are $300 for an hour, $150 for a half hour, and $100 for 15 minutes, i constantly get "that's way too expensive." i then point out that the club down the street charges $600 for an hour. still, it's a no-go for them. of course they want sex or something else.

any tips on getting them in there?

That's actually pretty cheap, as VIP rooms go. If some guy says that to me, I take that as my cue to move on to the next. "way too expensive" means he doesn't have the money. Of course I often laugh at him as I get up to leave Can't help it.

Perhaps it's just a seasonal downtown?

oh...but let me show you how worth it it really is.....

sure you could get a DANCE in the regular areas for $xx...., but for only $xx more, you get a completely personal, one on one EXPERIENCE with me where i get so much hotter than what you see out here....it's not called V.I.P for nothing.....

if they start saying "i could get sex for that", i always just come back with "quality or quantity baby, you decide...." usually they're a waste of time tho

Something to understand is that using a sales strategy based on what other people charge in another club is not effective. The reason is I'm not in that other club, I'm in YOUR club so the fact that the price of tea in China is more expensive doesn't concern me. If they balk at the price, move on or sell them on a $20 lap dance if your club makes those available.

A system for being more effective at selling this is to offer the most expensive price first and don't give a second option after that. In other words, don't give them a price-point breakdown. Just say, it's $300 for the hour and wait for a response. If he says that is way too much money, then say, "Well, we can do 15 minutes for only $100 which is a lot more affordable considering how much fun we're going to have." This is called the "flinch test". If he is slightly waivering on the 1 hour rate, then only downsize the sell 1 level instead of two and offer the 1/2 hour rate and don't mention the 15 minute rate at all.

My clubs VIP rooms are 200 for a half hour. A one song lap dance is 20 dollars. I figured it out, and if a song lasts 3 minutes, that works out to be 6 dollars a minute. A 30 minute room for 200 dollars works out to be 6 dollars a minute. Its actually 6.7, but I rounded down. Basicially, a lap dance on the floor and a vip room is the exact same price. So heres what I tell guys. A half hour VIP is the same exact price as a lap dance per minute, and we get away from everyone watching on the floor for a much more intimate experience so I can give you the best time of your life.
If your lap dances are 20 dollars a song, then a VIP room for $ 150 for a half hour is actually cheaper than buying a lap dance! So try to sell from that point of view, and tell them that is a much better deal because not only is the half hour room is cheaper, plus they get a much more intimate experience.

This line has been workign well for me, and also, Dancerwealth recommended when askignfor a lap dance, saying would you like a dance here on the floor, or would VIp better suite our needs? And I was suprised at how many guys will skip the dance all together and go straight to VIP. Or after one dance, instead of saying would you like another, say, would you like another dance, or would VIP better suite our needs? A lot more guys will go to VIP instead of buying the second dance.

thanks for the tips, everyone. dancerwealth, i purchased and listened to all of the cds on the home study course...my first night was a disaster after the course (but it wasn't a good night for anyone). i recommend that you come out with an advanced home study course for more skills. yay! i look forward to trying out the selling techniques again!

Men are going to bitch no matter what part of the country you're in, some are cheap, some aren't. Usually when someone starts with the "that's waaay tooo expensive" I just look at them, give them full eye contact and say "Compared to what?" They then do the well, uh, uh, um, um...... I'll then say "You can certainly hang out here and get a couple of dances here and there, but if you're really looking for the ultimate experience, our private room is the way to go" If they still stall, then it's my clue to move on, NEXT!!!!!! Don't waste your time with cheapasses because there's more in there that aren't and all it takes is ONE person to make your whole night!

well i dont have any experience with vips..but i do have experience with the "thats so expensive" guys. i work in a strip club but as a watiress that has to hustle drinks. our drinsk our 20 dollars(crazy i know). but...most guys probably just want u to agree with them, "like oh yeah, that is sort of expensive..understandable"...jus so they feel "agreeed" with or "heard". then i look at them like a cute lil girl who wants some ice cream..haha, then i just say, "well anret i worth it?" and i give them a wink or sexy pose or something...if they dont say anythin for a bit, and jus shrug and say ,"well..alright..." and start to slowly walk away and look around at the crowd, and act like i was tottaly worth it but now hes lost his chance because im starting to move on to the next guy...then he stops and go "wait, do they have an atm machine here?"

but that doesnt always work...but it works alot for me.

At the club I work at the guys have to buy a bottle of champagne .............I always hear that they dont want to get the champagne but would otherwise do the VIP. Doesnt bother me too much I make more doing $20 dances for an hour but sometimes it would be nice to sit and relax. I just cant get around them not wanting to spend extra $$ for champagne they dont want.

Try selling $600 for a half hour!!
I've done it, but man, it's hard unless the guy has a ton of money.

I agree with DW - always start with the most expensive, then work your way down.

IT doesnt always mean they dont have the money. It could mean they do not want to go to the VIP room with you.

i try to start with the half-hour price...if he gives me the "too expensive" line, I say (very innocently and with a sweet smile) "oh i understand, well if you don't have the money for that, we could just do a 15-minute room instead..."

usually--not always but usually--works a treat some guys will get the half hour, and the ones who really don't ahve the money will usually go for the 15-minute room.

Oh, please don't! I understand that we all get frustrated, but just smile and move on. If a guy hasn't done anything except turn you down for a dance or VIP, he doesn't need to get flamed. Possibly he just didn't want to dance with you for some reason, but would dance with another girl, only you killed his mood.

I've had this happen to me a few times, that guys asked me to dance with them while I was on stage or on my way to another table, and by the time I get to them, they're in a sour mood because some dancer got pissy with them when they said they were waiting for someone. Half the time I can coax them back out of their bad mood, half the time they're pissed and don't want any more dances from anybody.

Heh, dancerwealth, once I joked with a guy that he should get five hours. When he said no, I said, 'Darn I guess an hour will do then.' and so he got an hour! He had been in over ten times and never gotten more than half from a girl. Hee.
