Default What is a Gentleman Customer?

I'm not gonna sit here and describe my strip club antics for you, as that would be in my opinion self congratulatory. Let me just say that i think the girls that dance for me have a decent opinion of me, and leave it at that. They seem to, but we all know what that can mean.

So tell me, what makes a customer cool aside from the obvious (money). You are there for cash, that is understood, but what about everything else? I have cash, that;s not what i'm on about. And i'm not on about romance or sex, just... like the rest of it. What makes for a cool customer?

Don't be grabby, gotcha, another obvious thing. What makes you have a rewarding experience with a customer, assuming this is a possible thing (again, i think the girls i see like me but i cannot be sure, they sure seem to like me). It's not that i'm all that worried about it, but i'd rather not have anyone talking shit in the dressing room about what a dirtbag i am.

Main reason i ask is that if I act like a decent fellow, honestly it stands to reason that i'll have more fun. That's the strip club philosophy i follow, it hasn't failed me yet. So it's all, as usual, about my hard on. hahahaha!

Win some brownies, lose some brownies...

All joking aside, what does a customer do to make for a pleasurable experience for the dancer? After all, if the dancer is comfy, the better time is had by all...

Gentleman customer : One who goes to a strip club to appriciate women and knows what respect is. One who knows he is in a strip club to pay to be entertained by a beautiful, engaging woman, NOT to get laid, find a girlfriend, or have a one night stand. One who understands that even if we act like we like you, or even if we truly do enjoy your company, we are still at work, and need to be compensated for our time.
If you get a lap dance, sit back, hold still and shut up. DON'T try to grab, lick, kiss, blow, suck or anythign else using your hands or mouth. Its OUR job to turn YOU on. Believe me, your not doing anything for us when you try to do that shit except make it a lot harder to give a good dance while trying to fight off your octupus hands.

For thoes that dont know what respect is: Dont grab my ass when I walk past. Would you do that to a girl that walked past you in a grocery store? Just cause its there and bare dont mean its free to the public.
Dont ask personal questions. You dont care about the answers anyway. Does it matter if I have kids, am married, am doing this to pay for college or just cause I like the money. The only thing you need to know is if I am good at giving dances, and I promise you, I am.
Dont ask how much to get me back to your hotel or how much it cost to get me to give you a happy ending. Its a strip club, not a brothel.

Look me in the eye and treat me like a real person, albeit a hot, half-naked person. Put your stereotypes aside. I'm not dumb. I'm not out to rob you. I'm not a fallen woman with no self-respect. Sure there are dancers like that out there, but don't get dances with them. Get dances with me instead.

Enjoy the experience for what it is and stop pushing for "more" -- be it a blow job or a date. Like a buddhist, cultivate contentment with what is in front of you.

Have fun! For this dancer, there's no buzzkill like looking over my shoulder in the middle of a dance to see a customer frowning, staring into space, or talking on a cell phone. I grasp the concept that you an Important Man of Business, but r-e-l-a-x for a second.

There's got to be more. It'll come to me...

My favorite customer of all time..
he comes in maybe twice a month, and this why I dig the guy.....

He has NEVER asked me out, he is always in a good mood, willing to sit and talk or buy dances. He NEVER tries to touch me, even subtly with the sides of his hands (I hate that trick) and we have a good time. We laugh about stuff, have great conversations, and he shows that he really likes my dances.

Basically he makes it obvious that he is there for the fun, entertainment and company. Nothing more, nothing less. He doesn't hump my body when I move around, he always says thank you!

I think the best way is to imagine your sister were a stripper, or your cousin or someone important to you...and how would you want her to be treated by men in the club. Follow that theory and you can't go wrong!

    Good Luck and have fun!

all of the stuff above is great. For me, a great conversation, not asking me for sex or being asked out (obviously), showing appreciation with compliments that aren't sleazy and also occasionally tipping me nicely above the price of the dance.

I like it if they smell good and have comfortable nice clothes that I don't have to freak out about getting makeup on (I worry about lipstick on white shirts, for instance).

I also like it when there's a little bit of eye contact but not a ton-- I hate having a sultry staring contest unless its just for one or two dances, but I also feel like a robot if they're just staring at my body. I think a little eye contact with mostly looking at my body is where my comfort zone is at.

Oh-- and presents. Even if they're really tiny trinkets, or when I get to know them, food.

The touching thing seems to be a sore spot (so to speak). By most accounts I would probably be considered a "handsy" customer, in that I enjoy and prefer two-way contact in my dances. However, I don't tread where I'm not supposed to (basically following the tenet that anything that would be covered by a bikini top or bottom is off-limits), and will ask to be told if I'm overstepping my bounds.

Would the consensus be that I'm generally alright, or that the dancers who let me touch them liberally are just putting up with it cuz they're getting paid? (Or a little of both, perhaps.)

My favourite customer once brought me chocolates and when I shared them, I became popular for a night. When I told him, he brought in three dozen donuts so I could do it again. He bought my plane ticket to Australia to be with the man I loved. He could genuinely talk to me about my real relationships. He called me his muse and every third dance wanted a hug. If I didn't make my goal, he'd buy more

^^Nobody's asking you to. What she's saying is, think of your dancer as a human being. You don't have to get all into her and her life's story, but treat her the way you would yourself want to be treated, or as you would want someone you care about to be treated. If you can't get beyond the incest angle, think of a female friend or an ex-girlfriend you still have friendly feelings for, or any other female you know and like. How would you hope she would be treated if she were a dancer? Would you like to see some guy jerking her thong down, slobbering on her, calling her names, or begging her to make him come in his pants? Or would you rather someone talk pleasantly, accept the level of contact she offers, and pay accordingly?

I think it's merely the fact that he cares.

Lets face it. Simply asking proves that you're set aside as a customer from the run-of-the-mill crowd that is ruining the experiences for the rest of us these days.

Unless you are kidding...you arent getting her point. You dont have to imagine your sister dancing for you. But dont do anything to the girl who is, that you would get pissed off at if someone else was doing it to your sister, or girlfriend....

The non-touchy, realizes I am a person and treats me as such, pays me for my time and knows it's valuable and can make a great conversation guy is my favorite type of custy. Those that were regulars, that appreciated that I remembered little details about them and took the time to remember little details about me still hold in a fond place in my heart. The reg that when at 11:30 at night, I made the comment that I couldnt wait to get off work cause I was hungry in just a general conversation, who turns around and goes and gets food and surprises me with it when I didnt even ask is a goody custy. A custy who comes in out of the blue, who knew I had a kid, and comes in at Christmas time with this big bag of stuff and had bought gifts for my kid with the tags saying "from Santa" on it is one person I will never forget. He and his friend were the same ones who asked the manager if they were gonna put up a Christmas tree, manager said he hadnt thought about it but wasnt opposed to it so they went out and brought in this huge live tree to set up in the club. Manager ended up giving me cash to go get lights and decorations and the two custys, myself and a few dancers decorated the tree together in the corner of the club. There was another guy who was a reg at the club, but not to any particular dancer. He would buy at least one dance from every girl every time he came in, was sweet and funny, and every month or two would bring gifts for everyone. Be it cigarette cases, little boxes of candy or whatever. Everyone loved him. The one custy who was my reg, who never once bought a dance from me, but would tip me $20 every time I was on stage and would pay me to just sit and talk to him and paid me very well to do so I will always remember. Thing was, I would have talked to him for no money because he was such an awesome person. I never asked him for money, but he insisted that he knew I was there to do a job and he knew I wouldnt be making any if I was just sitting there talking to him so he wanted to make sure I still made my money but he still got to talk to me. Between the stage tips from him and the money he would set at the corner of the table for me, he never spent less than $400 on me at any given time. He was the custy of all custys! He came in about once a week and would only be there for 2 hours. I am retired from dancing but I remember every one of them fondly and coud still tell your their names and their life story. I dont know, aside from all the things everyone has already stated as far as no touching, etc, the best thing you can do as a custy is have honest genuine respect for us as a human being.

Basically a gentleman is a customer who doesn't try to jam his fingers in your cooter or asshole. He respects your limits and understands the meaning of no. He doesn't attempt stupid little mindfuck games because he hates all women. And he doesn't shirk or dither around on payment.

This above is true if he buys one dance or fifty.

    having the money to spend.
    being honest and polite.
    not being grabby.
treating me like a person and not a slab of beef.
being clean (no matter how you look, you can always be hygenic).
understanding and respecting my boundries about not seeing them outside of the club.

in general, i just like a customer who enjoys the time for what it is. one who can sit and talk/laugh with me and who understands that my time there is money. it makes it easy (and actually makes me WANT) to give great dances (within my limits) and have a good time with them. i do -not- enjoy bullshit/games. don't sit there and try to "make me" work for my money or act high and mighty like i owe you something. i know what i'm there to do, and i can do it just fine without being prompted or made to feel like i'm on trial.

Wow, you obviously have imagined your sis in a sexual manner, otherwise this shouldn't be such a tender area for you sir.

Of course, I'm viewing stripping as entertainment more than direct sex.

My little bro likes strip clubs and I would want him to get treated well, not hustled, and not ripped off. How is that creepy? He lives in Houston, so from what's he's told me, he gets treated VERY well. Conversely, I want him to treat the strippers well, and I always bitched him out for bragging about cheap extras. Hehe, I guess I'm just not uptight up these things, our adult family members are sexual beings too. Is it a European thing?

I don't think Mr Hyde is obsessing. I think everyone is putting him on the cross with their mis-interpettation. This:

How's this...treat your customers like you'd want a stripper to treat your brother. Is that creepy?
Wasn't him trying to say that having a stripper respect your brother is creepy. I the second sentence is sarcasm aimed at the attack of exotic dancer.

I concure mr_hyde, you will illicit no other response from me when trying draw a metaphor to behavior in the sex industry with anything involving a family member doing similar actions than a dry heave and perhaps self-induced detached retinas.

You can tell me how you think I should treat a stripper without putting the mental image of my 15 year old sister grinding on my lap in my head.

My goal as a 'custy' is to make the dancer feel as safe and as comfortable as possible during a lap dance. I'm there to enjoy show and if I do my thing right usally I get the best show she has to offer........This is a win/win..... that means:

No hands, thumbs or finger tips
No dirty talk, unless mutally agreeded on (I can't do that any way)
No trying to kiss, lip rubbing or blowing, and
ANYTHING else she says "Please don't" ........

p.s. if you inadverntently do the above, APOLOGIZE!!!!!

you will have a good time and usally get the best dance ever!!!! I do..........

Well then. I suppose I apologize for my misleading analogy.

Can I rephrase that? How about........treat a stripper they way you would want someone you care about to be treated. Not like a piece of meat dangled in front of you by a thong with no resepct regarding feelings or intent.

    Yah, that sounds about right.

I SURELY wouldn't want to make anyone here gag!

So, aside from twisting things around to turn what was meant as a constructive comment into something ugly and obscene......I think we all get the idea. Be nice. It helps.
