Nevermind.

Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!"

Happy Rosh Hashanah to all who celebrate it.
Blessed Mabon/Autumn Solstice as well (For other Pagans/Witches)

Naw, just honey cake. Loaf cake-like a banana or zucchini bread minus the fuits and veggies. I made about 200 this year.Originally Posted by Vyanka

Jewish Spam!!That is so true!!
My mother loves gefilte fish, lox, all that Ashkenazi food. I hate it. The only Jewish foods I like are Sephardi - well, except kugel and latkes. I do like those. But Sephardi food is so much better! Then again, I tend to like Mediterranean food better than European anyway.
For Rosh Ha'Shanah, I usually like to slice apples and toss them with cinnamon and a little lemon juice, and maybe some apple pie spice, then serve them with good honey for dipping. I like that better than honey cake... not so heavy.

One thing that can't be argued about the Sabbats here is the Soltices and Equinoxes. It's just ..well.. un-natural to celebrate the Autumn Solstice when it is Spring. As for the other "Greater" Sabbats, that is purely up to the tradition of the person (whether they will go with Northern Hemisphere/Traditional dates or adapt to the Southern Hemisphere).Originally Posted by Rhiannon
