    Default Sleeping

Lately I've been getting around 12 hours of sleep a night (bad bad I know) and I'm tired the rest of the day. Is it from sleeping too much? Should I try and get 7-9 hours in stead?

Either too much or you could be eating a certain food that is triggering poor sleep.

Probably from sleeping too much. The body goes through phases like this. I do. Maybe you need it though.

Yeah, sleeping that long feels good, but it makes me more tired than if I only sleep 7-8 hours a night. Sometimes the body just needs that rest, especially if you're working a lot. Physical jobs like dancing really take it out of ya.

Yes, oversleeping will make you letharic the rest of the day. You need to set an alarm.

It could also be illness? Maybe you should go to the doctor's to check it out. I was always complaining that I was tired because I was sleeping around 15 hours a day and waking up still tired, and everyone kept telling me that I was tired because I was oversleeping.

Turns out I had Glandular Fever (sorry I don't remember the American name for it?).

You can have other symptoms like, sore throat, flu like symptoms, but you don't have to have any at all other than being lethargic.

I had that plus weight gain. Your doctor can do a simple test to find out.
