...you see someone who doesn't know you're a dancer at work??
...someone starts name calling (not nice ones) at you while you are dancing??

ignore and move on. get them kicked out of the club for causing a disturbance.
why are they name calling anyways, they are in the club as well!!
It would depend on how I knew them. For example, someone from high school or a friend. For those I would go and talk with them. If I knew them through family or another close way, then I would go to the dressing room until they left.
I would have the bouncer go to them to say something. If that didn't work then have them removed.
Everywhere I have worked they wold have removed someone if I asked. I ran into some people from high school once or twice and was actually glad that I went over and talked to them. The looks on thier faces were absolutely classic.
There arent too many people who I could see that would make a big differance.
But if someone was being rude, I would def have them thrown out...depending on what they said or did I might slip the bouncer a tip to make sure his trip out the door was rough.
People always ask me, did I ever learn anything when I was a stripper? Yeah, I did. One man plus two beers equals 20 dollars.

Myspace is an obsession...much like Stripperweb...

Just remember...if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.
If they were harrassing me, I'd have them thrown out. Otherwise, I'd just hide. I try to keep my two lives as seperate as possible.
If you think school is hard, try being stupid.
Rudeness = getting tossed out on yer arse. The bouncers are great about that. I even think they enjoy it a bit.....
But if I ran into someone I knew....well, I have ha the same thing with people from high school coming in, and to honest, rarely do they recognize me! Lots of changes since then.
But if someone came in, say family or friend of family, yah, I'd hide out till they left, or jsut make sure I only work one side of the bar and not go their way (it's big enough to do that).
Like Bella said, my two sides stay seperate!
But what about when you are recognized OUTSIDE of work? Say, while at the grocery store with your kiddo or someone?

Being recognized? Hustle 'em! That is exactly what I've done when someone I knew sho didn't know I danced came in.
Rudeness get's returned in kind from me. Gotta love those guys that like to disrespect the dancers. I don't get them kicked out, but I do tell the bartender that the person is totally drunk, so he get's cut off- Hehehe! Most don't stay long if they can't get served. It is amusing watching the rude custy arguing with the bartender exclaiming "I'm not drunk!" LOL!
Oh, and it makes for great stories here on stripperweb. "stupid customer tricks" are always amusing.
Promote yourself and earn more money! This is a business that is owned by strippers for strippers. Let's make that money!
*needs to look up the "stupid customer tricks" thread*
Here's one, a guy asked me if I knew of any girls in the club who would give him a "private showing" at his hotel. I told him the bouncer keeps a list of the girls who are allowed to do that and all he has to do is ask for a referral. The guy actually went up to this walking wall of a man and asked! Heheheheh....... Imma big meanie!
