    Default Meerkat Manor Australia

Since Australian TV is like, 3-5 months behind American TV, I need to know from an Aussie (or someone who can tell me without giving away the rest of the season) who died in Meerkat Manor and what happened to the babies that were taken out?!

    Who else watches Meerkat Manor?

It's a real show done all drama-esque about the real life of Meerkats that were studied. REALLY cool.

Aw, sounds like Big Cat Diary on Animal Planet. I used to love that show!! I really miss it. It's so lame that I haven't seen that show in years and I still think about those cats and how their lives must be going...

It's better than Big Cat Diary! I LOVE Meerkat Manor.

But, if your TV is way behind ours, I don't want to ruin anything for you and say the wrong thing. Our season 1 just ended a few weeks ago and season two is about to start soon.

All I'll say is Shakespeare is my favorite! I love that little guy!

Did Shakespeare die? The episode was supposed to be where either Shaekspeare or another one died, right after taking the babies out of the hole. What happened then??! O_O

that show makes me so upset. the meerkats are so damn cute and it's a briliant show, but i get so fucking upset when one of them gets injured or dies. i've started crying a few times during the show and had to turn it off.

i love shakespeare, he's my favourite too

lil, they take the babies out of the hole practically every episode lol. one of Tosca's tiny little babies died though, because Youssarian dropped it and left it there when Flower came back from hunting it was so sad

shakespeare hasn't died. he's been injured a few times but he's still alive, as far as i know.

Yeah he had the snake bite but...ugh...

One of the males took ALL the newborn babies that the MEERQUEEN's (lack of a better word) sister had. Y'know where they thought the queen of the pack would kill 'em? Then a male, not Shakespeare... But they WERE really little babies and he took them ALL out (they didn't even have open eyes) and stood off in the distance like nothing happened while other kats ran around picking them up and putting them back down.

Thanks to being exposued to nature docos since I was young I'm all fine with the whole life/death thing. That's one of the great things I absolutely love about the show is how it shows life (and death) in all it's glory (as such). Yes some of the babies die... yet that is just life as such. I'm not a cold heartless bitch. I just understand nature. Where there is death there is life as that dead baby will provide food for the 'unseen' life .... the insects, worms and a whole assortment of life which we need on this planet. Without that biodiversity, this planet would die and so would we ultimately.

They are damn cute the Meerkats however I don't religiously follow the show.

mermaid, it's an incredible show. the humanity that these meerkats display is just breathtaking, and i couldn't believe how intelligent and socially adjusted they are. i thought the same thing as you when i saw the ads, but it's one of very few shows on tv these days that has managed to make me laugh, cry and say "WOW" in just half an hour.
