    Default About shaving

I am curious about why all dancers shave these days. That was not always the case. I am not attracted to girls but to women, and a mature woman has a bush. I find that very sexy. I wonder if profesionals can explain why this trend of shaving took hold. Am in in the minority pof men who prefer a natural look?

Yes, you are in the minority, but I like it.

I shave bare because I am a cute little redhead with freckles and glasses and I BANK on looking twelve.

Also, in most states, your bottoms have to legally cover you enough so no pubic hair shows at all, or they are too small legally and you can be thrown in jail. SO..... the easy answer is to shave it all off so you don't get hassled.

admirer, I believe that you're in the minority. I'm guessing that you're an older gentlemen? As with everything, time changes styles. Dancers could be wearing that 80's female mullet with granny panties too, but they're not in style anymore. I think a shaved bush is just another fad that may or may not stay. Personally, I prefer a closely shave bush, and I certainly don't mind a completely shaved one.

In regular life I find that a neatly trimmed pubic area can be indicative of excellent personal hygiene.

    admirer52, I don't necessarily think you're in the minority...

Unless you mean to say that you like things truely natural, I think the consensus is actually neatly trimmed or landing strip is just as preferable to totally bare, but you can judge the responses for yourself.

I'm attracted to women, and a mature woman can be SHAVED or have a bush. I would rather it be shaved or trimed up nice, but it really don't matter, whatever she wants she should have.

Me too. It's amazing how women have different qualities and features, each unique to the other.

I know, it's one big head game, and they should all be made from the same cookie cutter. But still... *sigh*

I like the shaving because i feel cleaner with smooth skin. I think hair down there is not attractive on women. blah. I think shaving also enable a woman to stay cleaner on her period as well.

    I prefer shaved.

It feels so much cleaner and makes them feel a bit younger too.

There's nothing wrong with being mature, but feeling young.

I think a woman looks sexy with a clean, trimmed bush. But when every other dancer in the club is shaved bare, the one woman who isn't looks like Sasquatch by comparison. So it's one of those things where everyone has to do it because everyone does.

Currently you're definatly in the minority. Im old enough to remember when things were different and women shaving their pubichair was considered a bit freaky though, lol!

I shave because it would look silly to publicly have black bush when I have blonde hair, well that's my excuse anyway. I often wonder if / when having bush will ever come back into fashion and whichmagazine will be the first to print a bushy centrefold.

The fully shaved trend is from porn in the mid-90s. Unfortunate, really, considering it can make a woman look like a little girl, which doesn't appeal to some of us.

However, I hear from some dancers that's it's just easier to maintain the fully smooth look on a daily basis.

I just grew back a tiny little "soul patch", and noticed that, yes, it is far easier to just shave it all off. Trying to maintain a neatly groomed, symetrical patch is actually quite the pain in the ass, esp if you happen to be tired when you do it lol. Keeping mine for now though, just went back to blonde (my original color) and it matches, so kinda fun.

Common reasons for women - not just dancers- shaving mostly or totally bare: some feel that it smells and feels "cleaner", feels better/more comfortable, can see everything which is a turn on to many guys, nicer for oral (no hair in the mouth, ew!).

I prefer my men very well trimmed also, though I must say prefer not completely bare.

I'm a relatively young guy (26), and I prefer to have *something* there to nothing. Mind you, I definitely prefer it to be trimmed - and there *is* also something attractive about it being fully shaved. But I still prefer just a nice neat trim downstairs.
