    Default need more energy

    I don't know if it's because I'm working more these days, or working later hours, or maybe something else is going on, but I'm tired ALL THE TIME. Like, if I lay down at any point, I would fall asleep immediately. I've even fallen asleep sitting on the couch in the middle of the day. I've been diagnosed with depression in the past, and usual tiredness is a signal for me that I need to take steps to avoid an episode, but this time around, other than the tiredness, I feel upbeat and totally normal. It's almost enough to make me go to the doctor, but I hate to go with such a vague complaint. Anybody have any suggestions? Maybe I need crack...

    you could try energy supplements. How's your diet? Is it up to the demands of running around more than you normally do? Are you drinking enough water? Are you eating too much sugar that would have you crash like that?

    hmm that used to be like me!! and i wasnt even doiung SHIT! haha. lol, crack will only make ya feel good for half hour then depressed even more and tired haha.

    anyways, it cud be your lack of iron. thats what my mom says to me when im tired. like grape juice, raisins, prunes(and theres prolly more stuff with iron) or maybe u cud take iron pills. because everytime i eat too much prunes/raisins...i fart all day haha~

    also, they say when yer on yer period or pms, u get more tired easily cuz yer body cuts out the iron or somethin. i duno somethin like that.

    also, sleeping too much makes u tired. like if i sleep for like 10-11 hours, usually the next day i feel groggy. if ig et like 7-8 hours, i feel much better.

    also, cafieene can make u tired. i mean ya it helps for an hour or so, but after, it makes u even more tired than u were before~!

    I'm kind of having this same problem, but more because there's no work right now (closest club about an hour away, and there's a bad manager that works half the shifts, so I only have half the shifts to choose from.)

    I totally lack motivation to do anything. Anyways, not to hijack your thread, grace....the iron sounds like a good start...but I'm still waiting to hear about what you eat, and how much uninterrupted sleep you get. (remember, it takes 90 min to reach REM cycle, and then you need several hours from there to feel well rested.) So, if you keep having interrupted sleep, and are extra busy, then of course you're going to fall asleep all the time.
