    Default hips and thighs

    Anyone know of any great excersizes to shape the hips and thighs on the in and outside besides those two stupid machines at the gym that have done nada so far? Yeah, I'm 22 and my body has finally started to look womanly, but damnit it's all going to the outside of my hips and saddlebags.

    Pilates is actually a great way to tone those areas.

    I've had friends tell me they tried spinning, and thought they were going to die. Should I be scared?

    Leg press! Since Ive started doing them with my trainer my inner and outter thighs are starting to slim. Maybe not for you but we do about 90-140 lbs increasing and doing about 20 reps each set.

    As part of my gym routine I'm doing the following for my thighs. Hack squats and leg press for overall definition, 80% of maximum weight, 3 to 4 sets at 10 to 12 reps. Specifically for quadriceps leg extensions with same parameters. For hamstrings that "reverse leg extension" machine (don't know the proper technical term). And specifically for my inner thighs I love that machine (I call it the gyno chair) which spreads your thighs apart and you have to close them.

    Is the leg press that one that you have to sit in kinda slanted back, and there is a big steel square that you put your feet on with knees bent and push it outward? I don't know the names of any of the machines. Not a single one. That'll be my goal for the month of October- Learn all the names. I like to learn something most people couldn't give a shit about, every month. This month it was learn to drive stick.

    It's not an easy workout, but if you go your own pace then you'll be fine. My legs have gotten much more toned since I started taking spinning classes.

    Swimming is also a winner.

    Try Kung Fu, or really any martial art. (I just say Kung Fu because that's what I study) It's great for legs, and everything else! (even your mental health!)

    I guess martial arts will probably help with my bad posture too. Would I be right?
    And, will spinning make me lose any fat in my butt? Because I'd kinda like to keep it all right there.
