Default I work here remember. why ask me for dances?

Well tonight I stopped by to see how it was going at the club. I was bored at home and just finished watching The Lake House. I do help some of the girls out when they say I need money for something or another. Not just do you want to go dance. I know I started out as a customer at the club i work at now but it irritates me that one or 2 dancers i really know or know me still ask for dances like I was a normal customer(granted i know im there not working. so that tech. makes me a customer). At first its like I wish sweety but tonight I got asked why I didnt want to dance. I said it had to do with cash. I only wanted to use my credit card. So thats 25 a dance and she would only get 17. Its how it works at the club I work at. So shes like just go to the ATM. I told her my actually money I have it budgeted and planned out. I cant just take out the money as I please. I dont want to set myself back till the next pay check. Plus I know her for asking things and not returning the favors when I ask her. I used to take her food when she asked I even let her stay over when she didnt have a place. I was even a gentlemen and let her sleep in my huge king size bed while i slept on the floor so she wouldnt think anything was fishy. So if i ask her to just do a free table dance for me for fun. not even the whole song. she wont. I wouldnt either if i made no money and didnt know the person but its different. Eh this is just a rant for a night i wanted to relax and now im stressed.

    Any feedback ladies?

Um, the same thing as every other customer - a strip club is not a good place to hang out and not be pestered by girls. The fact that you work there should make you MORE sensitive to that, not less.

So let me get this stait ... you were a customer at a SC, then you got a job there, now you sometimes hang out on your off nights?

Sounds like you were trying to use your employment as justification for free entertainment. Did your budget at least let allow you to tip the stage?

As long as you were at least tipping the stage, I could understand if you didn't want to get dances. However, if you weren't planning to buy any dances, I don't think you should be expecting free dances or even free partial dances from the ladies while they are working. In that capacity, you were socializing, they were working. If you're not working, then you're fair game like any other customer. ... If a dancer wants to provide a freebie or a discount for past favors or because you're a good customer, well then that's up to her. I don't think you should expect to be able to request them unless it was clearly understood that the dances were a negotiated tradeoff for something else.

I could just as easily see this thread posted by a dancer and entitled...
"Hey you work here remember? Why are you hanging out and expecting free entertainment on your night off?"

    Just my opinion.

Um, no. Not acceptable. I was neutral about your post up til this point, but now you're being a dick. The things you say you did for her were FAVORS. Like a tip, a favor isn't a favor if something is being demanded in return. If you wanted free dances in exchange for the stuff you did for her, you should have negotiated that with her at the time. Geez, dude. Turning down dances is one thing, but asking for a freebie -- and being angry when it's refused -- strikes me as the last work in lame.

Personally, I think club employees who spend a lot of time in the club on their nights off are pretty lame anyway. Could you make it any more obvious that your job is an excuse to ogle naked girls all night for free?

Just my $.02, but there's an old saying about not shitting where you eat. I would assume in a SC that still applies.

I will never get a dance where I work (and probably never anywhere else either, but that's beside the point). It's unprofessional.

There are always those dancers who fail to realize that I am not and never will be a customer, and therefore am a bad target for a hustle, but they are most easily dealt with by my saying with a smile that good god, no, I never ever do that, especially where I work. Never be an asshole about it, you are after all, there on your night off, and they are still working. But be very firm about it while you are smiling.

Depending on the nature of the club, I will sometimes hang out there on nights off, but in the vast majority of the clubs, not for very long. The last club I worked in was an exception, the place was so crazy it was a lot of fun to hang out in and watch the circus, and I was very close to the dancers so they all knew why I was there--not to ogle them, that's for sure. Half the time I'd wind up going back into the dressing room and chilling out, something I would never, ever dream of doing in my new club, lol!

If I take friends there, which is helping the club, I might buy one of them a dance from a good tipping dancer, they always appreciate that. I won't sit at the tip rail, that's for guys who want the show, and the quickest way to ruin any semblance of a professional demeanor. I will tip dancers who are good tippers to me, usually by sending another dancer to do it, since it looks 10 times better than if I do, and gets the tipping girl a lot of attention from the guys. Everyone wins, and it looks good for everyone involved.

One night in my last club, much to my surprise, one of the dancers started giving me a table dance without my asking, and said "Here, I couldn't tip you last time we worked." In this club, a table dance meant serious grinding right in front of everyone. I really wasn't crazy about the idea, since all the other dancers might have thought I was buying the dance--professionalism right out the fucking window. So I started talking to her while she was doing it--work talk, no sweet talk, lol--she got the hint and backed off. I would rather she had bought me a drink or given me the money, not that she was unattractive.

It's far better, if you do go into work on your night off, that you still maintain a professional attitude. Don't get drunk. If you do start to get drunk, leave. Never, ever monopolize a dancer's time for any reason, unless she needs a break from rough night, and some encouragement.

For god's sake, if you don't want to get hustled, don't ask for a free table dance, that's the worst thing you can do--it's like wearing a big neon sign that says "still a customer!"

So let me get this straight... you were a customer at the club, you started working there... now you just "hang out" at the club on your nights off... and you get angry if you are "hustled" while on your nights off? ... BUT you ask for "free dances"... and get angry if the dancer says "no" because you know eachother?

Moron. You're like every other dickhead who gets a job at the SC as a way of getting some special "in" with the strippers Customers don't get free dances. Period. The fact that you happen to work there doesn't make you exempt or special - in fact we figure you should KNOW better. If you did favors for this girl, it sounds like you only did it in hopes of getting something back from her - that's not a favor, that's manipulation.

When you go into the club on your off-time you're a normal customer. You don't get any special priviliges. WTF makes you think the girls should spend their time at WORK entertaining you for free, whether you happen to work there or not??? The fact that you also work there makes it even MORE offensive that you'd have the gall to ask for a free dance. Get a fucken clue dude.

My club has a rule that the male employees cannot get dances from, date, or otherwise interact in anything other than a friendship/protector role with the girls. And it is refreshing. It removes that whole issue entirely.

Thanks for the info. Now that I have different opinions I come to the point I was wrong and also typed some of the things wrongly as well. None the less some of the answers I expected and others I didn't. I didnt mean to upset anyone here but the dancer I was refering to is not the best person in the world but thats for me to deal with. Leaving that detail out changes and mabye some of you will respond to it like if I just made it up or not. I just needed to rant maybe not the best place but it served as an outlet to how you all feel. Something that does help me and maybe other customers who read this change their attitudes. Thanks ladies.

Edit: Also I wanted to add I do tip. I actually wrote something in another post about I tip on stage most of the time because I don't like the girls to be up there alone or no one tipping cause I wouldnt want to be on stage myself like an item on ebay not being bid on. Dollars are nothing. So I enjoy giving company to the girls on stage.

I am not a-hole most of the time. I'm just a stupid man.

I found it. here it is.

Re: Do You Think Most Custi's Think There Going To Get Sex At The Club??

I can say absolutly yes. Before I started working at the club I am at I would go there as a customer. At first it was just dances. At the time it was a while without being with a girl so the blue balls was satisfactory. After a while i got to know some of the girls and thought the hold bonding would lead to that. It happens because we guys are morons. We pick it up as a sign. Once i started working that all changed and my views changed on the subject. Its funny to see now all the customers who spend money. They give me the oh yea look when I see the oh crap look because your broke. I smarter than to spend all my money but i do 1-2 dances every now and then when the girl looks hott or if they tell me they need help. I always tip on stage. I wouldnt like the feeling of being stared at like a object on ebay and not get bid on. I go up to say hi and show they tipping the girl doesnt hurt guys. hehe. It helps every now and then toward the girls. gets more tippers on stage. But going back to your question.

I was there and yes I went with the thought in my head if i will get lucky tonight.

If this means you are buying dances where you work, that's why they are asking you if you want more. You are then a customer who sometimes works in the club, in their eyes.

I work a set schedule. If they think I work sometimes they are wrong. Plus the post about the tipping thing was when I first started.

What exactly do you do at the club? At my old place, our gross, fat website design troll used to hang out at the club thinking he was an employee and "in" with everyone. Not only did his web site suck, no one liked him either. Technically, the club paid him some money to work on the website, but that was it.

okay, because you admitted to being a moron, I'm going to shed some light on this situation... hooking up with people has to do, on the large part, with exposure. The more exposure you have to many women, the better chance you have with one of them. Granted, it's a little harder in some ways and easier in others at a club as some girls are more guarded or more free with their sexual hook ups.

My advice: if you're really a nice guy who was just thinking with his dick-- then why not throw the girls a curve ball and not act like a customer...? It would probably work a lot better for you than your current attempts.

And for effing sake stop trying to get something with these "favors." Either do a favor because you're friends (and stop trying to sleep with your friends) or just pay for sex like everyone else who wants a sure thing.

    This thread is kinda funny....

I will say thought either you need to find a new job somewhere else or stop being a customer. Me thinks you cant handle both. If you dont want to do either....check your head at the door and think about it for a little bit. Also, if youre getting this wrapped up now then youre in for a rude awakening.

It seems pretty obvious to me that girls are asking you for dances because you buy dances. If a client uses a doctor, lawyer or dentist's services, the client will generally get a letter or something to keep them interested in using services in the future (Think, It is time for your teeth cleaning). Same deal here.

Also, I looked up on wikipedia what a barback is. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barback

I don't want to be rude, but if you are just stocking the bar with drinks, I don't think the girls are gonna be flocking to take you home, so you may want to re-evaluate your career choices if you are tempted to spend all your cash on dances. The last thing you want to do is spend all your income on dances in a failed attempt to be friends (w/ benefits) with all the girls.

It is obvious that you are working at a strip club to get dancer poon. WhyTF else would you care about doing stuff for your co-workers other than just common courtesy things. No moral judgments there, but let's be honest.

Actually, I have known barbacks who were serious players with the dancers in a few clubs I have worked in, but they never, ever bought dances.

Ah, yes. What's his name again? Troll sums it up pretty well. Let's just call him "Troll." HORRIBLE photographer, too.

Oh, and as to the matter at hand: You may work at the club, but you still have a PL mentality, expecting to "get lucky" with dancers in exchange for "favors" and so on. Your job is not going to give you any special privileges. Not unless you work your way up to manager. Then you may be able to manipulate the new girls into giving you blowjobs. If that's a big enough life goal for you then live the dream, man, live the dream.
