Okay, so I'm thinking... Isn't there something to make periods end faster? Like something that will flush out all the blood and goo in there so can just have your "period" in one day?

that'd be nice, but no. best you can do is stay hydrated. there might be some way out there herbal pill that makes it lighter or faster, but I doubt in one day.
you're staying away from the major brand pads and tampons right, which supposedly have chemicals to make you bleed more (and thus, use more product.)?
^ Yikes! No, I just go to costco and get tampax.
What about a douche? Wouldn't that work? Or does it not get up there enough?

Douching would not work, and its not good for you anyway. If you dont want a period, or want it to be shorter, there are a lot of birth control pills that stop your period completly or make it shorter.

This birth control makes your period last only 3 days. Or you can just take any birth control pill continuously through the placebo pills so that you never get a period.
Crap. What about... a really tiny toilet plunger? Heh.

lol if only!

Ask your Dr. about Yaz or Seasonal. Yaz makes your periods last about 3-4 days. Seasonal lets you go for 4 months without having a period. I've been on Depo. Some people have bad reactions to it...it started to make my hair fall out! Just find something that works for you.
My periods are normally 3-4 days... It's just that I'm going out on Saturday with this guy I've been seeing and... I want to have sex!!!Godammit.

well, it will be the tail end of it-- so...lots of water???
or, on the other hand, maybe there's something you can take that will stop the bleeding for 12 hours or so, to start up later -shrug-
wait a second, aren't there those little cup thingies that you fix over your cervix to catch the blood flow...maybe you can have sex with that in. I think they're sold at target.
^ No, you can't.
Could you imagine bleeding all of that blood in 1 day? Good lord, I don't think you would ever get off the toilet (would save you money in tampons, though).
I say you just go on the date and tease each other...then the next time you see him, it'll be that much more exciting.![]()
Why would your period stop you from having sex? Or are you afraid it would gross him out?
I've always been reluctant to let guys go down on me while bleeding as I feel dirty and probably smell bad. However, to my own suprise my current my bf loves to eat me out regardless, and I've since lost some of my reservations and embarrasment about it. I've never had second thoughts about straight sex during my period, though.
^ For me, it just doesn't "feel" good to have sex on my period. I don't know why...the sensation is just different...
^ I've only been seeing this guy for a few weeks. I have to be like... serious and in a secure relationship and all that before I'm okay with making sex that unromantic, lol. Well, maybe he won't care. It's "schoolgirl" night at the club we're going to.Blah. I'll just have fun teasing the shit out of him.

In my experience the blood flow slows down to a trickle if it doesn't stop at all as soon as I get really excited. I've had sex even on the first day and it wasnt siginficantly messier than on the latter days.

Nothing like going out after a session of "heavy petting" or sex with no orgasm, it's that it never feels like you stopped having sex. And it's like you two have a one-up on the whole crowd. It can last days.

That little cup thing-
It's called instead. You CAN have sex with it!!!
I used to, and it says so right in the instructions.
Drawback- It took some time for me too get used to putting it in the right spot so that it wouldn't leak. It supposingly can hold as much as a tampon, but I found I had to change it sooner. As it's kinda expensive comparitively speaking, I stopped. But check it out!

If you want to have sex yet are still on your period when the time comes to enjoy some adult fun... then use a sea sponge. Do as all the porn stars and escorts do even us xxx showgirls (as we use dildos/vibrators in our shows) .... oops.. saw that Lilith already mentioned it... ah well..

Q: Can I have sex with the INSTEAD® Softcup® in place?
A: Yes, you can have clean, comfortable sex with the INSTEAD® Softcup® in place. Although individual experience may vary, most likely neither you nor your partner will be able to feel the cup. To help avoid leakage on heavy flow days, insert a new cup immediately before intercourse.
