Oh shit, now we can't eat grilled chicken? WTF? Is it how they cook it, or does this hold true for chicken I grill at home?

Ah, for fuck's sake! I've been eating a grilled chicken salad per day from mcDo's.

Another good reason to skip restaurant food and eat at home.

Yeah, but this is even chicken you gril on your own BBQ grill at home. The difference is the amount of char on your food and whether or not the grill is cleaned regularly.

Scarlett, I wouldn't worry about it. One chicken breast a day isn't really going to hurt you.

I wish there would be an end to these frivolous lawsuits that scare the living shit outta people. You'd have to consume a large amount of these per day (over 5) for them to have any carcinogenic side effects.

I'll see if I can find the article that I'm referring to for backup.

this isn't surprising if you've read Fast Food Nation.

Farming practicing are meant to produce the cheapest meat possible. You either sell to McDonald's for cheap or you don't sell to anyone. Unless you're willing to pay more for good farming practices, which most Americans are not.

But I don't know why they'd sue the buyer of the meat (versus the producer) unless it's how it's prepared.

I banned fast food three years ago... except for the occasional Mrs Fields chocolate/peanut butter delight brownie and DQ's icecream... other than those two things, I don't eat it. Period. I cook at home, and ever since I put my family on the fast food ban, everyone is MUCH healthier, and I'm finding that I like cooking and finding things to cook that are different...

I eat it once in a blue moon, if I have PMS cravings. But other than that, I eat pretty healthy. If I want to get something quick from outside, i'll go to a mom & pops deli or diner.

Just another reason as to why I'm glad I gave up chicken over 4 years ago...
