    Default Starting this weekend..scared!!

Ok, i know there have been many posts, but i am SCARED!!

I auditoned a few weeks ago but since it was on the fly, i didnt take my clothes off.

I have never done anything like this, and im really scared. Im afraid the men will be rude, the girls will be rude, i will look bad, or feel like an ass.

I have the shoes..working on an outfit this week..any suggestions? Its a topless club.

Im not sure on how to even do a table dance..i watched the girls when i was there. Some got on laps or touched customers, some didnt.

do i need a garter to put my tips in??

And lucky me, my aunt flow is coming to town this week as well!!

If anyone has any words of encouragement or suggestions, they are welcome!!

Well first time jitters are common. It's normal to feel nervous, so don't worry about that. On your first night just take it slow and get acclimated. Don't worry if you don't do well on your first night.

If you've got your shoes be sure to practice walking around in them at home. You can also practice your dance moves in a mirror. As far as the rest of the outfit, well again a lot will be determined by what you're club requires. Some clubs are vary strict with their dress codes, while others are liberal. Also be sure you know and understand the local laws. You say you'll be working in a topless only club, so there may be some local regulations regarding coverage. Ask your manager before you go out and spend money on outfits you might not be able to use.

A garter may be a good idea as a place to keep your money during the night. Some dancers carry around a little purse, but many dancers fold their money around their garder and then secure the open half with a rubber band. Makes it harder for the money to fall off the garter, AND a lot harder to be stolen. Not sure how the dancers collect tips in your area, so you may or may not actually need the garter to collect tips on stage. Ask your manager and watch how the other dancers collect their tips at your club.

In terms of the "table dance", sounds like you've already checked out how some of the dancers perform at your club. That's a good frame of reference. As always, be sure you know what the local laws are, the club rules are, and what you're own rules are ... Then don't break them.

Yeah you may encounter rude customers, you may encounter less than friendly dancers. Try not to let it bother you. Hopefully you'll also meet some good customers, and and at least some professioanly friendly co-workers. Don't worry about making friends at work. Try to stay clear of the dressing room drama and just go about your business. If one of the verteran dancers takes you under her wing, cool. If not, so be it. You don't have to be friends with your co-workers in order to suceed.

Now, one of the important things is confidence. You mentioned having never done something like this and being nervous about taking your clothes off. Well that's part of the business. Even if you are nervous try your best to make eye contact and be sure to smile. Just try to remember guys are there because they like to be in an environment where attractive woman are easy to interact with and come to them. Otherwise they'd just go to a normal bar or night club and have to approach women and potentially get turned down. In an SC, as long as they have the cash, they get to play in the game with much less chance of rejection. YOU have to KNOW that you're hotter than the majority of the woman the customers encounter in their daily lives, AND you'll actually give them the time of day (for a small fee of course ).

    Best of luck!
If you can't win. Make the fellow in front of you break the record.
