    I got a 5-year car loan at 3.9% and still ended up paying thousands in interest. I would have never known had I not checked out this handy interest calculator.

    I also use it to estimate how much I am throwing away to credit cards.

    If only more people were like you and would do the calculations.

    These days consumer finance is "Can I afford this payment out of one of my paychecks?"
