At night the club I work at is pretty clean. Managers run a tight ship. But daycares here don't keep infants at night so I'm stuck working days, today being my first.
So all the girls at my clubs do extras. Some more than others. Okay, here's the deal. Air dances are all that are legal, and we have to do them with clothes on. But everyone else is still giving lapdances even though the club just got busted a month ago. Girls are still flashing and getting felt up and doing extras. They announce it shamelessly in the dressing room. Other clubs in this city are no different, at least here the girls are nice.
So I can't make any money. I left with $3 today, and the only reason I made that is because there were a few unsuspecting customers who didn't know I was clean. I refuse to do extras because I could get in trouble, and since our dances are done in the open, the customer looks around and sees what all the other girls are doing. Then they're through with me.
I talked to the other shameless whores in the dressing room about this. I get told that they charge $20 a song (instead of $10) and let the customer touch anywhere. The girls that don't admit to this say they just rip the customer off, by telling him they did 5 dances instead of 3, stuff like that.
Well, I'd rather lie about how many dances I did than do extras for $20 a song. I'm way better than that, in fact, no girl is so worthless that she should be felt up for $20 a song...they just don't seem to know that in the clubs here. But I feel like customers will know I'm ripping them off and the little business I do get will be guaranteed one-time only. My club is super-slow and I can't risk that!
I know I could bend the rules a little and give lap dances. But I'm a single mom and can't risk going to jail.
The obvious answer, in most cities, would be to switch clubs. Well, I've done that here and found that the one I'm at is the best.
So should I start lying about how many dances I did? Is it actually possible to make money in this situation?
