Default SC Music Better than Norm Clubs

Rob Zombie, Techno, Electronic, an and any new wave music that you'll never hear in a million years in a norm club.

It's quite pathetic in my opinion when I leave my car with the music playing on the Top 40 music an then walk inside the club an swear they must have the radio playing on the speaker system.

Even more awesome is to hear music that I never hear played outside a personal head set is KMFDM (wikipedia if your not familiar... last airtime they got was along side marilyn manson for that columbine shooting thing).

Sometimes you just can go to a SC just to learn about new music... it's pretty much anything a girl will want to dance naked to let her cause she's the boss in that retrospect.

Never have I heard of a SC that forces girls to dance to music the club owner specifies... an thank god for that.

    Any additions or arguements???

LOL, well now you have! We dont even have a dj in my club.

Infact going to strip clubs in Australia anyway was how I learnt about mainstream music. At least for me it's not stuff I listen to outside of work...

Sometimes the owner's son changes my music cause he doesn't like my Sinatra (seriously, New York New York and a bar full of drunk men? I ALWAYS bank on it!) and instead will play American Woman (thanks for pointing it out!).

Anyway, you can go to an alt. club for that kinda music normally.

I play the strangest stuff. I prefer Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.

New York new York used to be the regular end of night song at The Playroom, before it was demolished several years ago now. It was fairly popular although I think they originally played it to clear the joint

At my work sometimes we can get away with bringing in our own cds, but that can be a bad thing too, lol!

i go to a "normal club" that has been playing all the (and more) previously mentioned music for 10 years. oh, and some clubs DO control the music a lot. luckily where i work now is not one of them. i dance to -basically- the same things i've been dancing to for the last decade. thankfully my club will work with me on it (but not all have)

nin, zombie, portishead, radiohead, placebo, ministy, bowie, pj harvey, bjork, thrill kill, kmfdm, (i've thrown some skinny puppy in every now and again) the doors, the cure, lords of acid, etc etc etc

    i'm eclectic.. but very specific

I don't go to a strip club for the music. It merely provides something for those who I do go a strip for to shake their money makers to.

    doc:

you just haven't met the right DJ.

When you meet the right DJ, it is a magical thing. Kinda like meeting the right dancer. `cept creepier.

No, my stripclub experience has been about acceptance, and affirmation, and desirability...There have been some women who have a personality that just clicks with mine, and in the faux-sex atmosphere of the club, it's a mix that is completely seductive." - Jay Zeno

I go to the symphony for music. If I've noticed anything at all I've noticed how ironic some songs can be in a stripclub. Can't Buy Me Love - The Beatles while getting a lapdance anyone?
Never stand begging for that which you have the power to earn.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Many girls play techno at my club.. we aren't really allowed to play any hard core rap or much rap at all because the main owner HATES it and said he's prefer an older crowd to be in there anyways... new rock is in there alot but I always dance to Metallica and it never fails to make the boys happy lol... Just tonight 4 guys came and sat and watched and threw money just for the metallica songs I was playing, then they left and went back to their pool game for the next chick...

I play older rock because HELLO.. how many 45 year old men break it down to britney spears or techno? lol

My stomach hurts from laughing at this! Good one! Maybe that should be another thread. Songs NOT to lapdance to.

Yeah, how many times can you hear Nine Inch Nails "Closer", anyways?

An alternative in my case, anyways, is to go to a black-oriented nightclub. They always play the new stuff!!
