Just a little opinion of my job so far in the last 6 months!...
So recently thee Dollhouse has become a little confusing to me here in Orlando... The manager is just weird sometimes and I have known him for two years... he just can never talk about any issues or anything with me sometimes and then other times he's like "TORRA BELL!" (nickname there). Or, "why don't you call so and so to come in?!" Or "I thought you said you were coming to work yesterday." Then he told me that the bartender told a regular that I was suspended. Then I asked this guy if the bartender said that, and he said no she didn't say that, "i went and asked the manager and he said you're thinking about coming to work, but you have another job" or something along those lines. Isn't that just weird?
But maybe he just really can't say because it's a law or something strange like that. But if the bartender ever did say that I would be upset because we had a little bit of an argument and almost a fight a couple of months ago in the club in front of customers ( how embarassing! ). And I know that I am her least favorite person ... so it's awkward to even be near her sometimes because she gives me this look of ... "you better not drink." (because I got a little smashed about 3 times in a month. (And she has on her occassion also been trashed like EVERY DAY to where I hear the manager saying "I had to throw you in the shower!"). And she gets upset with me if a customer puts his hand on my shoulder or my hip or if I sit on his lap for like ten seconds (And I have seen her do this countless other times!!!). What's up with girls that say not to do certain things when they have done even worse there! Or asking you to sign in for you and also ask to take their money and tip the dj! I just walk away now. (So now this girl was a dancer... and now is the bartender). And she's been on probation for 5, five more years to go, says she has four degrees, is a lesbian.... how the crap did she get to be bartender... I wonder. Our other bartender rocks (I don't want to just say negative things here because it's pleasant there most of the time)... she is very polite, and has things going for her just from the vibe I get from her and she can talk to people like a regular person!!
Now that I work with my mom at another job in an office, it's so different from the strip club because it's all office humor now instead of dancing! But really I sometimes felt like I would become an alcoholic and needed to drink everyday so I had to stop working there so much. Now it's just 1 or 2 days a week at the club. I think that's a good solution. Because I have not drank. But all in all, the manager, the bartender don't give a crap about me and if I show up or not unless it's like a month from now or something! But they know I sell features and can actually TALK to people because I believe you should be polite and say hi to everybody.
