    Default What type of contacts?

I was wanting to know if any of you guys had bad vision with astigmatism? And if so, what type of contacts you wear? I formerly used Acuvue but they didn't correct my vision enough so my doc switched me to BioMedics which is decent but I always have to order them. I have so Fresh Look clears in now and they are swimming all over the place plus I am seeing double a bit. Any suggestions?

I have a slight astigmatism and can get away with wearing Acuvue 2s. My bf has more of a problem with it and we wears Acuvue Toric lenses.

I just moved to Acuvue Oasis and love them.

i am obsessed with color contacts and my vision is horrible. i, too, have an astigmatism. i used to wear freshlook colorblends toric, but i switched to durasoft optifit toric colors. buying online is always cheaper, but i only reccomend doing so if you know your exact prescription.

i'm not sure what you mean by swimming around, but i'm guessing they're turning in your eyes? toric lenses have mini weights on the bottome, or so i heard, which keep them from spinning. people w/out an astigmatism can see no matter how the lense is, but ours has to stay in one position.

I liked acuvue. My astigmatism is minor, but I got Toric lenses anyway. They're by freshlook. It took me a few days to get used to them after the softer (though the torics are still considered 'soft') acuvue's... now they're fine and I can't tell the difference when I wear them.

omg the acuvue oasys are PHENOMENAL, i loved them so much! My doc let me try them by seeing the difference-- i had my regular brand in my right eye and acuvue in my left. unfortunately, they were too expensive for me at the time...

I used to have astigmatism pretty badly, and when i switched to wearing glasses, it went away! I was shocked... maybe try some cute glasses for a while?
