    Default My Current Obsession: Anime!

Ok, I've never been much into all the anime stuff- it was never my thing. I love Adult Swim, though, and that's how I ended up like I am now.

Mox and I were watching AS one night a while back. He fell asleep and I didn't feel like getting up to get the remote. I ended up watching InuYasha and Fullmetal Alchemist.

OMG! Can I say...IN LOVE? Mox and I literally race each other to get to the TV first when it comes on!

Anyway...I hadn't made a really random post in a while, so I figured this would be a good one for me to make! Anyone else watch Inu or Fullmetal?

    I love Fullmetal Alchemist

    In general, anime rocks.

My favs have to be Revolutionary Girl Utena, Fushigi Yugi, and Neon Genesis Evangelion.

I am a huge FullMetal Alchemist fan. Show only really, however I have the whole series. Watch the whole series from beginning to end, then watch Conquerer of Shambala. The series leaves you on a killer cliffhanger. Greed, Hughes and Mustang are my favorite characters of that show, in that order.
Fullmetal Alchemist is my favorite show, really, because it's very reaching on the whole mother/brother/loss area, and it's more of a great movie. Sometimes it's hard to remember it's animated and fantasy. Basically, Ed's reaction to Hoenheim of Light was exactly how I reacted to my dad when he showed up.

Inyuyasha is awesome, allthought it can get pretty drug out. But it's A Premier Anime. They keep dragging out the defeat of Noraku due to the fanbase. Sesshomaru is also my favorite character in that show due to his unexplained care for Rin. I also really dig Kikyo's character. And the show is ALWAYS funny when the Wolf Demon Koga shows up.

I need to watch Fullmetal from the beginning...I adore Ed and Al's relationship. It's...sweet...in an odd sort of way.

I do think I've missed quite a bit since I just picked it up a month or so ago. It's a really addictive show, though...it knows how to draw you in and keep you >right there< the whole time you watch it!

Hmm...do I really need to get stuck watching another show? I'm already bogged down as it is!

    I'll check it out, though!

^Lain is an OVA Original Video Animation (or OAV if you prefer) I think it is 6 or 8 episodes.

I am still in love with Maetel, esp Space Symphony Maetel.

Bleach was a fav until the 'vampire' arc... oh wait they called them bounto... I stoped watching at ep 80 I think. Hopefully it goes back to being good sometime.

Rozen Maiden was a good one -I have to buy more of the manga for this some day.
Para Kiss (Paradise Kiss) is one I'm going to watch again when I get my main PC back. I just loved it.

    Thats it for now.

If you want a good story with a quick run check out S-Cry-Ed

I've never seen Cowboy Bebop. Is that on Adult Swim, too?

Well, you know me...always last to get on the download train.

I'll check on that, though. Is it worth watching? Honestly? The last thing I need is another show that I can't bear to miss.

I'll take your word for it, then.

I'll just stick to Fullmetal and Family Guy.
