Default About hustling on slow nights

I've read so much here and it has helped me such a bunch but I'm quite curious about one thing.

I work in a rather over staffed club. It's small, with something like 20 dancers and on the only relatively -busy- night that I have been on, there weren't even enough custies for every dancer.

Because of that, I take a lot of time hustling because if you stand idle with nothing to do, guys assume that no one wants a dance from you. When I say a lot of time I mean 20-40 mins.

Last busy night I had, I made decent money but nothing great. The thing is, here you pay percentage to the club and therefore most guys pay with cards and it has to be payed at the bar. This makes it really hard to sell another dance so it really depends on how many minutes you can sell initially.

Most guys buy 5 or 10 minutes from me. I need to get them to buy more minutes but it's insanely expensive! Should I try to sell consecutive dances (try to convince him to buy more after the dance he bought) or should I push for more minutes?
    Any advices?

    Hell,
all of this sounds harder than it needs to be. Hmmm.... Is this your only choice of clubs? If not, do the other clubs around you have these crazy ass card rules? If not maybe you should try that, because this all sounds very stressful. Stress causes wrinkles, and wrinkles sell less dances.
Anyway, If you must stay here, you might have to develope an F you pay me sort of motto. Have him buy drinks. Go get the drinks yourself and then keep the tip you would have given the bartender. Charge for everything. Your conversation, back rubs, but make him want to pay for this stuff.

If they ask how your nights going, maybe you could say that it would have sucked had they not shown up. People always tip more if you make them feel speacial.

And if minutes cost more than dances then try that, but try to keep the club outta how much money you make.

And to those who are offened by my bar tender comment, I don't make a habbit of it.

Yes, the card stuff applies everywhere. Sometimes it seems that no one in Iceland carries money anymore.. This is my only choice of clubs, it's one of 2 in the capital. Heck, if not the whole country.

The drinks thing would work out... but. You don't tip in Iceland. It's not tradition. All that stuff is already calculated into your wages. So, no tips. I also only make 10% of the drinks that I sell, so I'd rather sell bunches of lapdances (which I get 50% for) instead of making little money and end up completely drunk off my ass.

Some people tip you after dances, those guys are just awesome, beside that it's just what you make at the tip rail. And Icelanders are baaaaaaaaad tippers.

So my only way to make more money is to sell more dances. I can't act all 'better than thou so pay me everything' because there are always less custies than girls. I'd just lose my money that way.

    Thanks for replying though
