    Vegas, Honestly.

K, I keep hearing little things here and there about how easy it is to make money at a vegas club. So, I need the truth from you Vegas girls.

I work in Az, and right now I can make an average of 300 a night, 400 tops. (Season STILL hasn't kicked in)

So, is veags much better? The same? I have also always assumed you had to be AMAZING looking to work there, great little hardbodies without flaws etc....

I love the way I look, but I have imperfections here and there, I am just really good about hiding them and showing off the parts that are better. Customers have come in and told me about the clubs they visit in Vegas and say to me "You should really try and work there, you'de make a killing." Got me thinking....

Obviously I am nervous, I have never worked anywhere but Az, the clubs here are dragging though, and I want to try someplace different. Opinions? Suggestions? Anything?
    Thanks in advance.

K, I thought of something else too....I have no idea what clubs to try at, and what clubs will let me work on weekends or just two or three days a week (I'd be traveling from Az).

Also, what clubs allow what. I am used to mild contact, on lap dances, customers touching thighs or back or arms....that sort of thing. Less than that I am okay with, more than that...no, not so crazy about it.
So, good clubs to try? Then ofcourse there's licensing and stuff.....all these things I never deal with here....argh. Thnx for the help girls, anything is appreciated.

No, it's not as great as everyone says it is.. unless maybe you go to like Scores or Spearmint Rhino where all the money is.

Vegas is overrated. Some girls can make a lot of $$ working in vegas.. but not all of them and certainly not everyday they work

In vegas on a weekend at a good club, 400 should be mininum, not tops. Of couse, this depends on how good your hustle is.
Vegas is only overrated because girls expect to fly out here, and the money will just fall into your lap. It just dont work that way. At a good club on a weekend, a grand is easily possible, but this depends on the club, how well you can hustle, and how long you are willing to work. It may take 4 hours, it may take 10 hours to get to that grand.

I have also always assumed you had to be AMAZING looking to work there, great little hardbodies without flaws etc....
You dont have to be an amazing 10 to get hired here, and of course, you dont have to be a 10 to make money. How much money you can make is directly porportioned to how long you work, and how good you are at it. Some clubs are more picky on who they hire. For example, Spearmint rhino on the evening shift(9pm-3am) is very picky, and very rude in how they turn girls down. Audition here and you can expect to here something like" you ass is to big, go to the gym and come back." Night shift(3am-9am) is more lenient and the money is still good at that time.

I have no idea what clubs to try at, and what clubs will let me work on weekends or just two or three days a week
Most clubs allow you to work whatever you want, thyey are used to girls flyign in from all over to work weekends or conventions. There usually is just a minimum hours you are required to work, liek 4 or 6 hours a night.

The best clubs are Scores, Spearmint rhino or Sapphire, although Sapphire to me is not what it used to be, money has gone down there, but you can still make money. Im not sure what smaller clubs are worthwhile, Ive only worked at SR and Sapphire.

Also, what clubs allow what. I am used to mild contact, on lap dances, customers touching thighs or back or arms....that sort of thing. Less than that I am okay with, more than that...no, not so crazy about it.
It depends on the club. General rule is customer cant touch, and you have to keep on foot on the ground during lap dances, no heavy grinding. But it really depends on the club as to how much they inforce the rules. The larger, more upscale clubs are more strict, while the smaller places seem to be more lenient.

One reason you can make more in Vegas is because you can work as long as you want. The clubs dont close, so if you have a goal, you can work until you reach it.

You may be better off staying where you are at and trying to work more hours or more shifts. If you figure in the cost of traveling out here, the hotel, food, and the liscencing fees, you would have to put in a good amount of work in order to see a profit.Dont expect just cause its Vegas that the money will just be trown at you. You do have to work for it, and there are good nights and bad nights just like everywhere else. There are some good conventions comming up Nov. 1, so if you did decide to come out, that would be a good time to try.

The business liscence is $100, you can get that as soon as you get here, then go to a club, tell them you want to audition and they will give you a referral for the sheriffs card. After you have the card, you can audition and work anywhere. You will be able to work the same day as you get your liscencing.

Hope this was helpful, and good luck

You have been great, thank you for all the info, especially you Vegas Dancer. Good stuff. I will stick it out here, pick up some more shifts...and then maybe early Nov try out a club over there.
I can do a good hustle, and don't mind that at all, but it sounds like the extra money I would make there wouldn't add up after travel and stay. We'll see. I'd still like to try it, ya never know.
    So thank you!

ExoticEngineer, I drive in to Vegas (from Phoenix) about once a month and work Scores. I was there this past weekend -- worked Friday 12-3:30 am and made $600 after fees/tipout. The mgr let me leave early -- I made up a whiny excuse - normally it's a 6 hour minimum. I would have EASILY hit the grand mark if I would have stayed the 6 hours, but I had some friends to meet.

Let me know if you ever want to travel together! :o)

Customers ALWAYS think Vegas is the end-all be-all of strip clubs Customers don't know wtf they're talking about when it comes to what it's like to WORK there. Customers tell me the same shit about Vegas - I am sure they tell EVERY hot girl in AZ the same thing. Don't listen to them.

AZ girls like to talk about how it's easier to make money in Vegas because of the $20 dances, compared to our $10 dances. Most of them don't come back with gobs of money though. It's alot of talk. As a new girl in Vegas you can ONLY count on making good money during a GOOD weekend/convention - those don't happen all the time and are much less frequent than they used to be.

Strippers like to bullshit about the money they make. Vegas is rumored to be the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, so AZ girls like to claim they make "a grand a night" when they go to Vegas. Most of that is tall tales. You can bet on it.

As a side note, that "grand a night" phrase has started to sound like nails on a chalkboard to me, simply because it's so popular with the girls who like to brag, but I know damn well it's not as easy to hit that as they like to claim.

I was making more than that (300 or 400 tops) at HiLiter on my trip here last month. The first day wasn't so great for whatever reason but after that 300 was a slow night. Was hitting 4-600 the other nights. I expect this month to be even better. It's hard to beat that in Vegas most of the time. A $10 dance is MUCH easier to sell than a $20 dance, same with a $200/hr vip versus a $500/hr vip.

However, if you're used to the AZ-style hustle, I can see how you may make more money in Vegas. Because we are used to going round and round the room approaching lots of customers, and that's what you have to do in Vegas. Since the dances are more expensive there, it's possible for a good hustler to make more money there than we do here.

On the other hand, in Vegas you'll have 200-300 girls to compete with, instead of the 40-80 we usually have in our AZ clubs. In Vegas, from my experience, there may be more butts in the seats, but that doesn't always translate to more sales - often lots of those guys are not buying because they really don't have the money. Vegas is full of more young partiers than anything else lately, and they typically don't have alot of money to spend. That's where our $10 dances make it easier to make money - it's easier to sell a cheaper dance, especially when the customers may not be highrollers. There are NOT gobs of highrollers in Vegas, and the few who are there 99% of the time already have someone (or 3) on their laps.

But if you want to try it, then that's really the only way to see for yourself. I generally don't recommend most girls bother travelling to Vegas to work. But for an AZ girl, my opinion is a little different. You can book a flight for about $100 roundtrip if you book 2 weeks in advance on Southwest.com, and book on a weekday. You can get a cheap car rental through a place like Advantage. Or you could drive your own car and get there in 5-6 hours. Motel6 on Tropicana is cheap, has clean rooms, and is safe enough. I just stayed there this week.

Point is, we can travel there cheaply, and more importantly, we are used to a similar hustle so it's more worth trying out if you're an AZ stripper. Hell I have been considering it since I'm moving back here.

^^^ Just in response to Bridgette's post...

As anywhere, I've had great nights and bad nights dancing in Vegas. The worst being $300 in 6 hours (but consider the $75 dollar house fee, $30 in tipouts, $20 round trip cab ride, $100 room, $20 food for the day, etc....umm, I made like $50 bucks that night). The nights I have "hit a grand", I got signed out to Champagne Room which is nothing more than pure luck and good sales skills.

I go to Vegas for a working vacation. First, I am there to have fun. Second, to make some money. Being a Houston turned Phoenix dancer, I have had exposure to both high volume/high contact/hard hustle. If you can't handle that you will sink in Vegas (night shift anyway). Yes, 300 girls is VERY intimidating and I have left early before when it has gotten the "disco nightclub" feel. Sometimes you can't walk between the crowd, let alone try to sit on some guys lap and sell a dance.

Is the money better than Phoenix? Not really when you add in the expenses.

Hehe. Well that just changes my mind about considering giving Vegas a try again. If the money isn't any better than Phx then I have no reason to go there. I can do high volume and high hustle but frankly I'd rather do it right here where there's less bullshit to deal with

yeah i m with AZ posters ... the expenses to be in vegas are worthy only if you hit the 1k a night ................. that means takin home about 750... and not even every night.............. so why not rather go home with a respectable 4-500 and sleep in your own bed and stay in the comfort of yr house.
sheesh i been in the road for too long i still cant believe im in the same city since 7 months now !

Personaly I do very well in Vegas. I have a day job so I only go for a weekend every three months. I worked at Sapphires and have always done well there. The worst night I had was $800

I also worked at Christies in Tempe about 2 years ago and was making about $700 average on a Fri/Sat night. I would work from 7 to close though. Spring is always good in Phoenix because of all the baseball players. I made bank then! Just try it out, you have to be really agressive in Vegas, but I am sure you will do fine!

I've been to Vegas three times. The first was meant to be a vacation, but I ended up getting card and license and working. I had banked! I made back my trip and all my shopping, entertainment, etc. plus more.

The second time I went specifically to dance. I expected it to be the same and ended up eating cheap and barely being able to cover the trip. (Keep in mind I'm flying in from NY. It's about 700 for me to go in for a weekend...)

Last time I went was for my day job, and I did not dance at all. While there I checked out two clubs and started a thread about it.

I've already booked my next trip to LV. In Nov. I'm going specifically for DW's live seminar (I just did the teleconference two weeks ago and am really interested in the class live...). But I will dance while I'm there. I'm interested to see how different my experience now will be. I'll work two shifts, take the class, and work one more.

I'll post after I go. My trip is from Nov 17th to 20th.

I agree with Bridgette 100%. I live here and work here ALL THE TIME. It's alot easier for girls to come in from out of town and make money, because they don't have to deal with the tourist/convention, million girls, shit every day. Vegas is not all that. I am actually considering dancing in Arizona, just so that I can work somewhere where I can make money EVERYDAY!!!!Yeah, you might make a grand here and there, but when you add up how much you made FOR THE MONTH,your profits aren't that much different, just because of the fact that, that may have been your only good night for the whole week. And that's exactly how it is out here. You will have more bad nights than good. And for the money in the better clubs, well I don't believe those girls are making consistent earnings in that sense either, because if they were, the girls wouldn't be jumping from club to club trying to go where the cab kickback is the highest. I've been dancing out here for 6 years, and in all honesty I'd rather work in a place where I know I can walk out with a minimum of $200 on any given day. That is NOT A GUARANTEE HERE!!!
And I work 4-5 days a week, not just the weekends either.

All in all it comes down to this. Almost everyone will make money when they are in a new environment. But next time you hear girls bragging about how much money they are making out here, ask them how many hours it took them to make that much money. If you are in town for the weekend only, chances are those girls are working 8-12 hours on FRi and Sat, The days that are the busiest. WHy do you think the girls that live here work at several different clubs? Because the money is not consistent enough to work at just one club all the time. Rotating clubs makes it feel like you are in a newer environment more often than not. I'm not saying that there isn't money to be made here. All I'm saying is that if you worked 8-12 hours everyday at your own club, chances are you'd probably make close to the same thing. Except that most girls don't work that many hours in their hometown on a consistent basis. Especially since you see alot of repeat customers and after awhile they get tired at looking at the "same ol shit". Also keep in mind that alot of girls only travel out here when there's something going on here like a big fight, UFC, big concerts, big convetions. But rarely do you hear about girls coming out here when Vegas is dead.

A couple of days in Vegas is meaningless as far as being able to access the profitability of working there. One really needs to dance there for about a month working 5-6 days a week to see how it really pans out.

I worked there for 2 months straight, working full time, and got to know a lot of the local girls, and that is how you really can access the clubs and the average earnings.

It's been pretty bad here lately.
    As for making a grand a night...HA!
Only if you're doing extras or working 12 hour shifts.
It can happen occasionally, but not every night.
I average about $200 - $300 a night. Which is fine with me for not doing any extras and only working about 4-5 hours.
