    Default Bleeding mole?

Has anyone everr had a problem like this?

I was in the shower and this mole just started bleeding a bunch. I will see a doctor, but wondering if anyone had a similar experience.

I seem to have pain in the whole armpit area. A little scary...

Did you happen to scratch it at all? Moles are attached to skin, and when scratched or pulled, can bleed and it can be painful like any other cut.

If it gets in your way, have it removed. I just had a quite large one removed and it left absolutely no scar. I was really pleased with the results.

Funny story though, I had one on my back and I went into a pond to swim and a fish came up and bit it, thinking it was food! It bled and that's when I decided to have them removed.

Bleeding, crusting or numbness in this skin area of the mole can be a sign of melanoma.

Sirona is right in what she said above. You should go to the Dr. right away.

I have one on my neck, it's small but raised a little, and I scratched it in my sleep once and noticed all the dried blood around it while I was in the shower. It was tender for a while and then it was fine. Not a problem since.

However, it wouldn't hurt to get it checked out, and possibly removed. From what I've heard it's pretty painless and little to no scarring.

I have one on my inner thigh that always getts irritated by the seam of my jeans. Sometimes it gets scraped and bleeds a bit. It never really hurts though.

If you have pain in the whole armpit area go to a doc. That cant be good.
