"Definition of prostitution is: one who solicits and accepts payments for sex acts, ONE WHO SELLS ONES ABILITIES TALENTS OR NAME FOR AN UNWORTHY PURPOSE. This business fits these definitions."
Ummm, yeah ok. Its a good thing they are coming down on strip clubs and strippers because there are no other businesses or people that fit these definitions.

Haha ^. I had to laugh a couple of times. I was totally unaware that a strip club promoted the following:
* Alcoholism - I was unaware that this was the only kind of business in a city that sold alcohol
* Drug trafficking - Cause...city's without sc's are city's without drugs.
* Pedophilism - What? You have to be at least 18 to dance, 21 in some....what?
Hmm. Interesting points.
- We don't need proof that our evidence actually exists - Wait..since when???
Derrr.
Well, that made my blood boil. Even though it was old, and Babes did win....it's still just amazing that these are the people who have been given power.....
Wow.
It's a catch 22 though.....if it didn't seem a little bit naughty, and there wasn't a little bit of that "thrill" maybe there wouldn't be so many men that enjoy it?
Either way, that group made me throw up a little in my mouth....holier than though BS. Incredible that someone so "forgiving" could be so "judgmental"!
Gag.

Thanks to the OP for posting the link to this. I thought the video was very well done. Kudos to Joe Whall for expertly presenting the different faces of this debate. Regardless of how ridiculous we all find some of the statements made, we all know as strippers and custys that there are plenty of folks out there who hate SCs and would be happy to see them disappear. Government actions through ordinance, zoning, withholding liquor permits, targeted inspections, etc. are how elected officials and their staff try to appease that constituency.
I wish Joe would amend his video to include the election results at the end. The referendum voted down the proposed ordinance, and interestingly, the highest concentration of "no" votes came from the neighborhoods in the immediate vicinity of the two major clubs involved (Babes and Skin).

It's unbeknownst to most of the public that at the same time as this city council meeting a $150k liquor license was being sold to Death Row Records to establish a nightclub one block down the road. Hmm... no crime there, huh. F*cking Scottsdale hypocrites.
