And about that whole 'but they'll get lazy' thing. One: HPV CAN PASS THROUGH CONDOMS! So it's not even about getting lazy because you're vaxed. Two: Probably not. People are already lazy as it is, they probably won't get lazier if they're the condom-only type just cause they're vaxed - there's still AIDS and herpes and... yeah. YUMMY!
No I see what you are saying. But how much of the general public is aware of these things?

The general public hardly ever knows a thing. It's so sad. Nothing I can do about it but educate. I plan on being a sex therapist that talks in schools. Let's see how that works.

Whoa! Well, I hope people don't get lazy since it's just a vac for HPV, not the many other diseases! And.. WHOA! HPV CAN PASS THROUGH CONDOMS?!?!?
If you think school is hard, try being stupid.

Yup. It can. It's rare but not nearly rare enough to be rendered safe to always use a condom. But still use one, as worse diseases can't. Main thing? ALWAYS get your yearly test.

Morrigan, for someone who wants to be a sexual health educator you should educate yourself a little better about STIs.

HPV does not 'pass through' condoms, this is not correct. The reason why condoms are ineffective at preventing HPV transmission is that the genital wart virus is spread via skin-to-skin contact. So all an 'infective' person needs to do is rub their wart on your skin to transmit the virus (usually, but not always, this needs to be in the genital area). The same goes for herpes.

The bottom line: gential warts can be found on the shaft, balls, underneath the balls, inner thighs, etc. If he wears a condom but has a wart on his balls, they bang up against you during sex -> you quite likely will get the wart virus -> you may develop cervical cancer down the track.

If you want to improve your knowledge of STIs read this:

Just to add, the vaccine offers nothing to sexually active women as in all likelihood they have already been exposed to the virus. This is why it will only be offered to children as a preventative measure.

It was easier to say pass through because I'm on my phone. My point was, condoms don't work with it. My phone only allows five hundred character posts.
