Default New Trip, New City-PDX -

    Hello Ladies,

I am going on my first trip to Great Portland, Oregon. This will be my first trip into unknown territory. I was thinking maybe Stars or Safari Showgirls.
Does anyone have any advice regarding hotels or a reputable safe taxi to take to & Fro?

Love you all, thanks and Happy Rocktober!

don't bother with safari..holiday and i went there (visited)..maybe it was just that night, but I didn't like it. stars is ok for the "barbie" look. course, i'm not a dancer so I don't know how the tips are there, probably good.

ask holiday or susan wayward..they can help!

you don't need taxi's here. we have max (lightrail) and the buses which are GREAT! as far as hotels, look at the outskirts in the suburbs, you'd probably get a great deal that way!

One of the major cab companies in Portland is Radio Cab. I almost never take taxis (it's super easy to get around Portland on public transportation), but when I do I always call Radio Cab. 503-227-1212.

Gosh, I don't know if it's the kind of city where it's worth dropping in for a few nights to work . . . but it is a terrific place to visit. Two of the top ten restaurants in the U.S., woohoo! Beer, coffee, pot, strippers, books, five different gourmet/organic grocery store chains, what more could you want?

Your best bet as far as working quickly are the larger clubs -- Stars, Safari, the two Dolphin clubs -- and maybe some others. A lot of clubs in Portland only have a half dozen girls on shift and schedule in advance, but those clubs I mentioned have more dancers and therefore you have a better shot of walking in and working that night. Table dances are no-contact and stage tips are good. But I wouldn't bet on making a bunch of money with a few nights working here; you have to find the right club and shift and hustle to consistently do well here and it takes time. For local girls who work it, it proves to be worthwhile because you can make good money here -- it's just that there are so many clubs and so many dancers that the majority I think are making $100 a shift (or less), especially at the smaller clubs.

The way to earn good stage money here is to work at one of the popular clubs -- Sassy's, Club 205, and Mary's all have a loyal and consistent clientele who tip stages well. You get your money a buck at a time but making $50-$100 on a stage set is not uncommon and if you're going up twice an hour, well, it adds up. But like I said, those smaller places schedule in advance and getting desireable shifts is chancy.

Anyhow, you'll make some money and you'll get to explore a lovely city. And you're just in time! Rain started this week.

Thanks ladies! I am excited, and though I am definetly NOT the Barbie type I will give the aforementioned clubs a try.
