Arrow So I did my first champagne room...

I'm so tired but I just wanted to share my night.

I worked today. Tuesday day shift. Dead as all hell. Some guy tips me 5 on stage so I automatically go to him after I change. He doesnt want a dance.... Hmm... OK... So I go and "look busy" and on my way to another table he stops me and says "exscuse me I actually will take that dance"

    Oh good!

So I lead him to the "loft" and I tell him to pick any seat because I want him to be comfortable... blah blah.

He says "actually can we go in there" pointing to champagne room.

I was like UUUHHHHHHH OK.... I wave over a manager and he pays the $60 house fee (for a half hour) I coudlnt remember how much the other girls said they charged for a half house so I told him it was my first one and it was going to be a learning experience and it would only be $100

Well during the dance he kept touching me.... OK thats fine its just my legs. Then he started heading down my pubic region and I was like.... Ummm no you cant do that.

I danced for him and then I also layed against him but there was only so much touching I could take.... I then talked to him... You know about sex stuff.... Kinda dirty stuff. He says "Oh I didnt think you were the talkative type"
...Yea I took that as him not wanting to talk. So I just dancer for the rest of it.

I feel like I did a bad job and its good I didnt charge him the usual $150ish because it wasnt worth it.

I got some good advise from the other girls. Next time I will charge the $150 ($200 if its busy) and I will lay down the rules before hand.... No touching. Its just like a lap dance nothing more. You get the same as you get when your out on the floor and dont ask for anything else theres a camra....

IDK I just feel weird about it. I feel like I charged to less but I feel like I didnt give as good of a dance as he expected? IDK!!!!

Congrats on getting your first CR. When I give dances I avoid sexual talk..for the most part. Be flirty, but I never give them idea of "more"

Congrats on your first CR. You could have def charged him more. You're worth it. Just remember they'll try whatever they think they can get away with. Lay down the law.

First congrats on the CR! ... Yeah, I think the other girls at the club already gave you some great advice. Obviously he thought the champagne booths (Sorry can't refer to those things as "rooms". Supperman would have a problem changing in those things. heh) were more private so that he would be able to get away with more. When customers try it, just point up to the ceiling and politely remind them there is an eye in the sky and ask that he please not get you in any trouble. Hopefully one warning will put the customer in check. If he still behaves poorly leave. Having a dancer storm out, especially in that little place when it's not busy can be fairly embarassing for the customer. Serves him right.

PS: One more tip - although you may wait to get paid at the end for the normal $15 dances, it's always best to the get the champagne room fee up front. The more money at play, the more you have to loose if the customer tries to do anything funny. Then if the situation becomes unacceptable you can just walk out, and you've already got your money. You want to try to avoid situations where you have to decide whether or not to put up with poor behavior or else loose out on the fee. Of course once you get to know the customer you won't have to collect up front all the time. It will be up to you. ... If a customer questions your policy, just politely explain that it has nothing to do with him personally, it's just that "other jerks" have tried to cheat dancers. LOL - Always blame the "other jerks" because for some reason customers tend to think they themselves are cool and must be different from everyone else in there.

    Best of luck!

Oh sorry, had one more thought in regards to pricing ....

This is where confidence is key! You don't want to sound unsure of yourself when pricing the champagne room. Once a customer senses hesitation, he'll know he can get you to reduce your fee. So with that being said ... always start high and work your way down. Tell him you get $250 for a half hour in the CR (that's still less than what a customer would pay at the club down the street). If you feel the need to lower, than make it sound like a discount, not just you dropping your fee. You could say something like, "Well it is kind of slow now, so I guess I could do the half hour for $150." ... See he just got a $100 break, and you still made your CR room goal. Also, he knows if he comes in to see you at a busier time it will cost more.

Also, set a floor. If $150 is still too much, then just suggest that you have fun with normal dances. You don't want to price down your champagne room, and then have to continually honor that lower price in the future. Read through Hustle Hut, there are plenty of threads about how to work the CR fees.

    Best of luck!

Thank you everyone! and thank you Verfolgung (again!) for all the club spacific advise.

LOL they are booths! I like it though... very cozy I think.

BTW I got your PM and I tried twice to respond but then the page freezes.... Erg..... But to make it short... I completely understand but if you ever do end up coming in, in the future then come chat with me!.... I didnt think you were blowing me off.

Just another questions.... When its slow a half hour is house- $60 and I should charge $150... if its busy (say later or on a Friday) I should charge $250? And then if its an hour I just double it? So slow-$300 and busy $500?

ALSO... I saw one girl in there with a guy and they had strawberries and whipped cream..... I want yummy stuff!

Honestly though its so much money for the room for what... A half hour? I cant really believe this is worth it for guys..... Dont they all expect more? This guy was just an average joe I think he was expecting more or something.

But yea the other girls told me to lay down the rules at the start. I doubt I will be trying to sell CR again soon.... But if I custy asks then yes I will... I just need to up my confidence... I dont think I've done enough LD to be able to sell a CR... KWIM?

No prob CG, I actually did get your reply.

Just to add some perspective ... The other clubs in the area would cost a customer $600+ for an hour in the champagne room.

Some places the club charges a fee for the room, and then they require the customer to purchase a bottle (min $150) ... THEN the dancer negotiates her own fee. For a busy Fri night, some dancers will request $700+ just for their time. Okay, so those other places may have better appointments to offer than the little booths at your place, but technically they can't offer any better form of dance, and you know already that your place is one of the most liberal in the state.

I mention that to help you get over the "is it worth it" mental hurdle. If a customer is willing to pay for it, than it's worth it. That's why you always quote high and work down if needed. You may find the customer is willing to pay the higher quoted amount. Personally I think you shouldn't expect less than $100 for evey 15 min, but that's just my opinion.

Some time you should go over and check out the competition. Your club is $15 for a dance vs $20 most other places, and your club is more liberal. The only downside to your club is that it is small and there is no real "private" dance area. Remember MA is techinically a 3' rule state, so in reality, most customers come into you place and get more for less. Just something to keep in mind.

    Best of luck!

"Taking less than $150 is like doing 2:1 discount dances, and we all know how fond of those you are. heh"

AHAHA..... I criiinnggee when they put my on discount for 2/$20

    BLAH!

OK I understand what your saying and I actually didnt know we were most liberal and we "cost" less..... hmm... thats good to know.

But one thing... our songs arnt 3 min they are a min and a half... So that changes the math.

Now just put those negative thoughts out of your head. The fees might seem high to you, but the customer obviously doesn't think that way.

Just like you can spend several hundred dollars to get you hair colored at a salon, or you can do it yourself for less than $10 at home. So why would anyone go to a salon and spend that amount of money when the same result can be acheived at home for a fraction of the cost?? Beats me, but I know plenty of people who are so happy to fork over $150 for a dye job.

Don't place your monetary values on other people, I guess is what I'm saying. If the customer finds you beautiful and wants to spend a lot of money to buy dances with you, then that is his perogative. Heck, the $150 he is spending on you in this situation is likely only a fraction of what he walked in prepared to spend. Maybe he has gobs of disposable income and is just having fun feeling like a high roller.

Basically, never judge what a customer is buying using your own value standards of what something is worth. You couldn't get me to buy a Hummer at any price because I think they are stupid and wasteful vehicles. Other people line up and pay top dollar to have one. I don't get it, but appearently that is what some people want.

Just remember that is what our customers want, and don't sweat the price, as you give good lap dances and the price is completely worth it to the customer.

CG: Congrats on your 1st CR. The price structure suggested by your coworkers seems reasonable. I certainly would hold to a $150 min. If that prices your customer out of the room, then go w/ the logic to the customer that it's the same dance outside the room and they are not paying the club fee to begin - It's a win, win! Only you can determine the parameters for negotiations, but if yesterday was as slow as you suggest it was - then guaranted money might be a CG win in that situation.

ALWAYS get your CR $ up front and ALWAYS ask for a little more than you think you will get. You will be suprised at what some people can afford--whether you think its worth it or not.
