    Default the two for one

i'm a better seller when i can actually gain some rapport with a customer. however, there are times when the dj plays "girls, girls, girls!" (ugh) for a 2-for-1 lapdance special.

any tricks to getting customers i haven't met yet in on a dance with me?

Okay this may not always work, but here's a cute ploy you can try ....

Usually 2:1 is a free for all scramble where the dancers just go out into the crowd and get a customer.

Walk up to a table of customers or a group a customers sitting near each other and play "Duck, Duck, Goose." (Note: The customers standing at the bar is also a good place to do this.)

Start with a customer, and pat him on the head "Duck", then the next customer "Duck", and then the next "Duck". By now the people around should be starting to get what's going on, and try to look for the one who looks anxious and hopeful that you may pick him. Try to work around a few more "Duck, Duck" and then go over to the customer who'e been following you with his eyes ... "Goose!" See if he'll chase you into the dance room.

Okay, not really a true hustle technique, but you an try it.

(PS: Also works great as a way to ham it up with a regular that you already know you'll be choosing with "goose.")

(PPS: If you really want to add a twist to the game, instead of patting the last guy in the head, you can present your booty, and invite him to "goose" you. But only if your comfortable with that, and you work in a club where that would be allowed.)

    Other suggestions:

    1) Try to remember who's tipped you on stage, and approach them

    2) Approach guys you've given dances to already and see if they're ready for more

    2) Try to have your 2:1 set up before hand. While you're sitting with a customer you can mention a 2:1 is coming up and would he like to do the dances with you ... or after giving a customer dances, mention that a 2:1 will be coming up and tell him you'd liketo dance for him some more if he's interested. Having your 2:1's set up before hand takes the guess work out of it.
