Default Geeky sweet guy needs appreciation

Me: you can't say I don't work hard!*nursing bruises* him: i would never say that. Your job is hard and you work your best and do so well. / well, damn, now I feel all special. I want to do something for him as this is how he treats me. He doesn't like beer or sports. I think he'd be happy with just sex and Doctor Who marathons. Is there any NICE things I can do? Hear from the men? Geeky men?

Call me simple if you will, but LM, what's wrong with a Dr. Who and Sex Marathon..... lol I think you'd send him to heaven or some place close.

Just don't practice trying to sound like Tom Baker! Lol. I love Dr. Who, I just like Tom Baker's the best for some reason. Although the new one is pretty good as well. K-9 even got a cameo.

He's still playing the last three. He's not gaming geek, really. More computer, british humour, quirky geek. I want to get him some Little Britain Dvds. But the truth is I want to Go Out and do something. Like a science fair treat or something.

This probably doesn't help, but I'm engaged enough in office, clients, and volunteer work, that for a special treat, I ask people to leave me the hell alone.

But camera equipment is always nice.

You'll have to check the local papers for something to do. Imax Theater? They often show something sceience or nature related. We have science works and the planetarium in Melbourne. It is horrible but the Empress fell asleap during the planetarium show....

You could wake him up with a one plate english breakfast, or eggs benedict. I know eggs benedict (smoked salmon version) is one of the few foods I could pass up, even if I was still groggy.

There is one little thing i like to do. If you are leaving for awhile and he is going to be home alone buy a cute/suggestive/funny card and put it somewhere you know he will find it while you are gone, just so he knows your thinking about him. Sometimes it`s the little things that really count.

Guys like food and they will always. Maybe leave some notes around the house in some orderly fashion hinting that youll make him a special dinner. He finds the notes and has to guess the clues.

I bought my geeky sweetheart the Star Trek Voyager boxed set...all 7 seasons! Now if I could just find him a Captain Janeway Hallmark Ornament he'd sweep me off my feet and marry me immediately.

Of course, I also wish that he would be thrilled with beer and porn like all the other men of the world....*sigh*

Get him some DVDs of Monty Python's Flying Circus, or, better yet, Fawlty Towers.

my geek still loves scandalous lingerie over gadgets any day. like he says, he can get all the gadgets and shit that he wants, but he can't find the really slutty panties for me prance around in.

it may lose its thrill for us strippers and x-strippers, but he NEVER gets tired of seeing new wispy panty sets and high heels while i do something mundane.... like bend over a lot. LOL.

Don't give him something - take him somewhere like a Sci Fi Festival or the like. Make a day of it. Then do it again!

He has all of monty Python. I gave it to him for his birthday. I really want to take him somewhere as a treat like I said before. I'll check what's around. And then - sex!

This comes from a geeky guy:
Buy yourself the sexiest ligerie, the best scent, make the best doll out of yourself and give it to him, the best dress (pleeeeeeeeese no pants, jeans, or anything that men wear, pleeeeeese). Make love differently probably, I don't know. (Then he'll buy you a gift :-)

No gift that I can give to myself is really worthy. A video game is a thin ice gift. I can be uneasy about my obsession with video games at my age, you know what I mean, I can feel bad about it. On the other hand if there's something that I don't allow myself to buy for myself, and somebody bought it for me, that's great. But it's too specific and requires a lot to know.

One of the coolest things my girl did for me was a weekend in Gatlinburg walking from one museum to the next, about 4 rounds of putt-putt, then Ripley's Haunted Mansion, then Ripley's Aquarium. Some junk food thrown in for bonus.

Hotel room overlooking a large river, that weekend was awesome

I don't know if he's into this kind of stuff, but maybe a Renaissance Festival. Does he like historical stuff? Maybe there are some other historic sites near where you live.
