    Default shoe glue?

Can anyone recommend a good "shoe glue" that i can use as a temporary fix?

The soles on my favorite pair of white lace-up boots are starting to come apart from the heel in the back. I could order another pair since i got them from the club's boutique, but i'd rather preserve them for as long as i can first. I've tried taking them to several repair shops and was told they don't have the equipment or can't fit the boot onto the equipment, etc, etc.

So...i'm thinking shoe glue. And asking for brand recommendations.

Well, I don't know about Shoe Glue...but Gorilla glue will keep just about anything from falling off. I haven't tried it on any shoes...but...

    thanks, I'll try that.

I was thinking of using Epoxy, but heard that it can ruin shoes b/c it's so inflexible, the shoe will just respond to pressure by stretching and ripping on other places around the glued area.

Shoe Goo. It's widely available in most stores that sell shoe products.

Gorilla Glue. I had a pair that broke in what sounds like the same place. I used Gorilla Glue and it's stayed like a champ! The only problem I had was that some of it oozed out of thed side and foamed up and hardened. If this happens scrape it off with a knife beacause it will glow in black light.

I've been looking for something that would work on shoes for years and this is it!
