    Default I bleed every time!

When Boyfriend and I have sex, I bleed a little every time. This has never happened before. The only thing that I can think is that he has a PA...anyone have any other thoughts?

I have a PA, and it tends to make the wife bleed a little, especially if we're really going at it. Is it a ring or a curved barbell? We've noticed the barbell seems to work a bit better in the non-bleeding department. Also, check the jewelry for any small abrasions. Have him take it out for a few sessions and see if you still have the same experience.

The piercing could make you bleed. Particularly rough sex could do it. Infection could cause it. Abnormalities of the cervix could do it. I would suggest seeing a gyn and getting checked out if you haven't done so in a while. I'm trained to think of what is most devastating. Rule those things out before assuming it is just the piercing.

Are you on depo? A friend of mine said when she was on depo, she never had a period, but always bled during sex.

It could just be that he's bumping your cervix a bit during intercourse. The cervix has a ton of tiny blood vessels close to the surface, hence his penis whacking them could cause some light bleeding.

That's how I found out my fibroids have grown. I can't do a reverse cow-girl with a decent sized partner without bleeding because of them. I have to have my doc check my fibroids every three months.

Have you considered switching to a partner with a smaller unit?

I bleed after having sex with a man with a particularly large penis. My doctor said I have a vascular cervix--very rich in blood vessels. All that bumping makes me bleed, but it goes away within a day.

My bf has a PA and I've never noticed a difference between the barbell or ring. It's never caused bleeding though, the only time for that was when I tore a little.
