Default I need math help for my hustle :)

    OK bare with me.

    Lap Dances:

At my club dances are $15/song. Each song is 1 1/2 minutes long.

    Champagne room:

    1/2 hour
    House charges- $60
Dancer charges-$150 slow $200-$250 if its busy.

    1 Hour
    House charges- $120
Dancer chrages- $300 slow and $400-$500 if its busy.

With these prices (which CR dancer fee is flexible) how can I make "deals" and sell these?

Would it be worth it if I cant get a CR to get the guy to buy 1/2 hour of lap dances (so no $60 house fee?)

I did my first CR the other night and got that out of the way so I'm ready to try and sell them!

With these prices what are some great money sales I can make? Or perhaps make things sound like deals without cheating myself.

(I deleted my post in your other thread, as it may be a better fit in this one.)

Doing the comparitive math can be a quick way to show a customer the quantitative value of the champagne room. However, don't let the math limit you in what you charge, and don't discount the qualitative value of your time. I've known dancers to charge $700+ for an hour of their time up in a CR of a no-contact club. Obviously this figure is not supported by a direct comparison, but some guys will pay it just to spend some qaulity time with the right lady.

People always ask me, did I ever learn anything when I was a stripper? Yeah, I did. One man plus two beers equals 20 dollars.

CG: I don't remember a 4 song set being less than 9 minutes in that club.

V: I do recall a dancer there with a 60 second soundtrack that only she could hear. Think racing stripe outfit - vroom, vroom. After avoidance for 3 months I suggested it would be okay as long as we only used the club soundtrack!

Umm songs are more like 3-5 mins long at this club and sets are usually between 15 and 20 mins long. Believe me this is one thing I KNOW.

As for help with the math....
When I worked there there wasn't a CR room so this is how I used to do it
1 song 15 bucks and that's like 3-8 mins of your time if you count getting redressed
3 songs $45 bucks that is about 12-15mins
6 songs $90 and that is about 25-1/2 hour
14 songs $210 is about an hour

    Hope this helps.

Playing lets make a deal is kinda a bad idea it makes you seems desperate and usually results in you cheating yourself. Before I left the club there were lots of girls doing dances for $10 a song as a way of making any money they could. 15 bucks a song is wicked reasonable and if you give a good dance it is easy to keep a guy in that chair.

Now the CR room at the club is supposed to be more comfy and will allow you to give a dance without rubbing elbows with the custy and girl next to you and you can charge for that level of comfort and undivided attention.

Thank you Gemini. I've had that 90 second song and dance, but I know I was underestimating using 9 minutes as a base for a 4 song set in there. I'm a customer who has never felt someone was messing w/ the music to my disadvantage. I also visit for short periods of time and know that if a dancer is going on stage I better allow 15 minutes minimum plus my number of intended dances, or I'll be late!!! Hope you're well!

Gemini: I may be employing your math calculations from the customer side to prevent post club tardiness! I agree with your next reponse as well. I'm never this agreeable, I do miss the princess of the dance poles!

Two mistakes I see possibly being made here:

    1. Don't neccesarily compare a block of time in the CR to doing standard lap dances for that same amount of time in terms of rates. They are two different products that appeal to two different types of customer. A lot of places I've been, a customer will pay considerably more for an hour in the CR than he would buying an hours worth of dances.

    2. Don't neccesarily base the rate you would charge for the CR on how busy the club is. Clubs are considerably busier on weekends but a lot of those weekend customers are small potatoes (i.e. NOT champagne material). By contrast some of the big spenders prefer to avoid that scene in favor of the quieter environment of a weeknight or day shift. Really, your rate should be based on what the customer perceives the value of the product to be. Personally, I would announce a CR fee towards the higher end of your range, regardless of how busy the club is and work your way down if you have to. To encourage them to do the full hour and additional time over an hour, make your hourly rate a little better deal than your half hour rate.

    1. DON'T cut your prices. That only devalues your service, gives the impression you're not really worth it, and undercuts the other girls (which HIGHLY pisses us off). Charge normal rates or MORE. Never less.

    2. CR is different from regular laps. They should be paying more for that than they would for regular laps.

    3. If you can make more money doing regular laps than what you'd get in CR, then of course you should sell them on the 1/2 hour or hour of laptime. You don't necessarily have to dance that whole time - you just have to keep them entertained during that time. Take little breaks now and then and keep the convo fun. I have worked in places where I made more money doing laps for an hour, so I always preferred that and avoided selling CR unless the guy was an all-nighter type.

In your case, if your dances are $15 each and you get approximately 14 songs per hour, then that's about $210 an hour. If you can only get $150 for the CR, then it's obviously better to just offer him an hour in the lapbooth for $200 and you both win - you get $50 more than the CR rate and he doesn't have to pay as much for the same amount of time. You sell him on it by telling him that for CR he'd have to pay more because the club charges for the room, but he gets the "same" deal for a better price by doing it this way.

If you can get $250 or more for a CR, then obviously you should go for that.
