    Info for piercing infections here.

Dont over-do the alcahol or peroxide if you use them. If you google, you should find more info there (-:

Also, where did you go to have it pierced? Parlor or Piercing Pagoda-type place? God knows when they clean those guns.

I would say get the stuff u clean ear piercings with... use it twice a week and the other times use a warm sea salt water soak. Take the earings out for a few days. U will get them back in if u have had them pierced for a wile. If that dosent work within 4 - 5 days goto a piercer and ask them. THere is also this spray u cn get called H2Ocean. another thing. are you maybe allergic to the earings you have in? are they metal? or plated? try sergical steal or something.

The holes that are infected I've had for about 16 years. The earrings I've had for few months and I take them out often to soak in alcohol. So it's just kinda . I wouldn't make a big deal of it except the puss running out the back is freakin me!!! I tried the salt water thing and the swelling went down a bit, it still hurts like a bitch, or I'm just a little bitch one. anywho-thankx

Mine get that way now and then and I had mine done for 20 years now. Just keep flushing it with the salt water as many times as you can. Its not a done deal after one try. You have to get that infection out. If it doesnt get better, you might want to call your doc and get on an antibotic.

another thing you can do is an asprin pack..... crush an asprin, mix with enough water to make a thick paste, and put it on. leave it on overnight.... I have used this on the cartilage piercings in my ears and it works like a charm. I'm also a fan of hydrogen peroxide. most piercers will say it's bad, but I have healed several ear piercings with it, and have had great results, and faster healing times...

If you are draining pus, you need to see a doctor. I recently saw a girl with both an old and a new piercing in the upper cartilage of her ear. She had let the infection go on so long that her entire ear was swollen to the size of a frickin' potato!
