at a guess, any still around and consistant, would be high contact.

I have to disagree. Big money clubs in my experience are the high end gown clubs (which tend to be no/low contact at least in comparison to other clubs in the area) like the various Scores clubs or at PEC in NYC or Paradise in LV.Originally Posted by mermaidnz
In these clubs you make bank by doing vip's that cost $300+ an hour and/or by being "bought out" for the shift and spending hours with a custy doing things like having dinner (at the club ofcourse) talking and drinking bubbly with a few dances thrown in here and there.
It's been a few years since I worked these clubs but I would make $1000+ at Scores and Paradise just about every time I worked there. I almost always made at least $600 at an upscale no contact club that is now closed in Tampa too ( that was in the late 90's though). Usually the bulk of that money would come from one customer too.

def. not consistant in melbourne unless you are dirty or rippin em off, but it's spring carnival girlies!!!! strap those stillettos on!

TigerLily's (ie, Fan_Dancer's) post above refers to PAST club experiences. There aren't any CONSISTENT $1k/night clubs anymore. There are some where you can make that SOMETIMES, but not with any consistency - meaning 4-5 nights per week. Anyone who says otherwise is full of shit.
Most the girls who talk about making that kind of money every time they work, aren't doing it as a full time job, or even close. These are the ones who cherry pick their nights and only work a few times a month. Yeah, certain girls can work 4-6 times per month, on the best nights, at a great club and maybe make $1k each time. But if we all started trying to do that, business would get even worse than it already is because there'd be no girls on the other nights to keep guys coming in.

i think that bridgette is 100% right. i think the better question is about the clubs where you have the POTENTIAL to make 1000 a night. for example, i worked at a club a lil while ago, Oasis in Philly, and there is just NO possibility to make that. i mean, 3-500 easy, but over that was tough because even if you were VIP all night, no chance youd get close to a g.
but at ch2 where im at now, there is the potential to make it if you know how to hustle.
apparently delilah's in philly you have that ability to hit the 1k mark too.
Love it!

It's true my info is several years old as I only dance here and there now for kicks. But I still stand by the way big money is usually( not always) made- ie by the hour in vips in high end, lower contact clubs.
The amounts maybe smaller now though and less often, which sucks. If that is the norm nowdays then gosh I feel bad for the full time dancers. I sure hope it will go back to the way it was when I was working the clubs 5 shifts a week.

pretty much accurate if all a girl does is dance ... with the possible exception of super-upscale clubs in Manhattan. With the recent announcement that the AVERAGE pay for Manhattan stockbrokers will be close to $300,000 this year, and with Manhattan banks reporting record profits, there is certainly lots of money floating around among the upscale Manhattan club customers. There aren't any CONSISTENT $1k/night clubs anymore. There are some where you can make that SOMETIMES, but not with any consistency - meaning 4-5 nights per week. Anyone who says otherwise is full of shit.
Of course, there's also the matter of 'fine print' between the amount of 'gross earnings' and the amount of 'net earnings' after stage fees, club percentages, and federal + state + local income tax is paid. In terms of 'net earnings', I have to agree with Bridgette across the board.
That all depends on the area you are in too. I've worked at several "high end" gown clubs here that were ALL high high high contact and LOW money(if you werent willing to do more than dance). In this area...I always made more in the dive bar type places where the girls could go on stage in cut offs and flip flops if they felt like it. In other areas it may be differant but here I avoid gown clubs like the plauggue...which is why I am so very disappointed that my current club(which is the only clean one in 3 counties) is going gown...around here thats not a good sign....:-(Originally Posted by Fan_Dancer

all i do is dance, i'd say mediumish contact, and ch2 a gown/classy clothing club, but it's true the money is made in VIP. 3 songs/100 is ideal for that. minimal time for the money.

Like out of that $100, you keep $85. Or out of a $200 VIP, you keep $170 at CH2, which has no housefee.
Whereas at Oasis, if you did a $200 VIP (which, coincidentally, was for the same amount of time), you kept $100.
Plus Oasis had a housefee. And they did not have an ATM (so you got screwed on funny money fees more.)
It largely about what the club extorts.

Sooo true. I'd love to create a directory of clubs throught the nation with their fees. The customers have a directory to comparison shop but we don't. Manhattan clubs sound great until you hear the tipouts. Same thing with Vegas.Originally Posted by Emily
At the top of the page there is a link "clubs & reviews". Click there and then select the club you work at and list the current fees and mileage expectations and anything else you would like other dancers to know about working conditions at your club.Originally Posted by Optimist

For instance if you dance in St. Cloud, MN and there is no listing for that city, but there is for Minneapolis, then just list there and indicate in you post that the club is actually in St. Cloud. Eventually the webmaster will create a new city link for St. Cloud and move your club review there.
Promote yourself and earn more money! This is a business that is owned by strippers for strippers. Let's make that money!

The clubs with the highest earnings POTENTIAL, also have the highest payouts and the highest chance for NOT making your payout back, ie: losing money.
I will be glad when more dancers stop talking about how much they make a NIGHT, and look at dancing as how much they make a WEEK. Working a few nights here and there is meaningless. To judge earnings accurately, a dancer must have a full weeks worth of figures to average out over at least one months time. That is the only way to judge a clubs averages.
And true earnings should be stated AFTER PAYOUTS. What is earned in a club DOES NOT COUNT if payouts aren't subtracted first.
" And true earnings should be stated AFTER PAYOUTS. What is earned in a club DOES NOT COUNT if payouts aren't subtracted first. "
But you can save some of that money. I'm starting to dance again and met with my accountant for a couple hours the other day. You can write off the payout (the house fee definately, and the tip out's if they're mandatory). My acct said it's better to count everything you made and then deduct the payouts, vs simply stating your net. Anway, I know you don't meant it with taxes in mind.
Haha at me. Just realized I didn't answer the question.
I was/will be again one of those girls who only work a few times a month. This information may be dated, but I would come close to a K whenever I worked a friday night at flashdancers in NYC. I would top it, but after payout, etc... also, they have a three night min and I never worked that much a week. So on the day I went in, I had to pay the house fee from the days I 'missed' as my fine. $150 per night missed! So, I was 'consistently' (75%) getting close to a grand, after paying out almost $500.

Nonetheless, I think we're all most concerned with what's in our pockets when we walk out the door.
I could also say I ALWAYS make $600+ a night at my little $10/dance club, but that's only Fridays. Other days, earnings potential is less. This is what I mean when I say there are no CONSISTENT $1k a night clubs anymore. Because no one can walk in there every night of the week and WALK OUT with $1k in her pocket. It used to be possible in alot of clubs. Not anymore.

$1000/night doesn't happen consistantly at any particular club. It happens in certain seasons or during certain events in different places, which are all too far between and fairly hit or miss themselves.

The problem is people don't fill in the whole form. Also I tried to warn girls about a club but the review wouldn't post.Originally Posted by Paris
I will agree that the clubs ( over all ) with the highest earning potentials are the ones with the HIGH house fees. Although I know of one club that doesnt cost you a dime to work there and you can and most likely will leave everynight with between 400-a grand.
I work at VIPS in chicago. We are a club that you can make a grand a night, everynight you work...but its all done with Champagne room sales. But to take home a grand you need to make 2 grand total. It can be done though. We are no contact at all, gown club with so much latex its insane and full covered bottoms..aka shorts.

Is it rebounding to the ususal money now? Or do you mean that's how it was before the shorts fiasco?
The only club I have ever pulled in 1k at I could only make it by pulling 4pm-2am and with a hard hustle since it is a ULTRA high milage club if your a clean dancer the guy typically only got one dance so you had to hustle alot of "single" guys to hit it.
I am moving to Vegas, anyone know of any 1k clubs out there anymore?![]()

Baby dolls tx. ONLY if you do high contact...it sucks

Yeah, good question. I thought I'd get a lot of responses about Vegas Florida and Manhattan. Let's see.Originally Posted by Crissychan
