    Default Geek curiosity- MMORPG

OK...my boyfriend has always been a HUGE fan of these games. He has tried them all, and he is always playing one and even got me hooked on a few from time to time. When we go out to stripclubs(which we do often) he always ends up finding a dancer who plays one type or another. I could never imagine a stripper playing these games, but there actually seems to be a lot.

So my question for all you girls is....How many of you actually play, and what game?

My ATF is a pretty big WoW fan. We frequently discuss the game over vodka in between rounds of dances.

Well burning crusade and blood elves may lure me to WOW one day, but I doubt it. I still like the single player RPGs. I just don't have the time for multiplayer stuff, even if free I just could not justify the time spent.

My guy and I were big EQ players back in the day. We just haven't had the time to get into WoW despite wanting to. My son and one of my good friends (I think Casual Observer's ATF if i'm not mistaken) both play though...

I miss the gamer geek thing.

I knew I wasn't alone!!! I play WoW. Perhaps this calls for the formation of a SW guild?

I used to play with Neopets... got bored of it. Now I'm back on MUCKs, like the true dork I am.

The recent Southpark episode they did on this topic was nothing short of brilliant. As for me, the ony one of these games I could really get into was City of Heroes. Great game.

Mememe! Total geek, I played FFXI and EQ2 and City of Heroes awhile, beta'd Wish (went under), and Irth (where I was known for sploiting my way up a vertical cliff into a dev-only area lol). I liked those games but they take so much time, and you're payin every month, so I pretty much went back to single-player console games. Playin KOTOR 1 and 2 with my brother ATM, and Burnout 3 is never far from me, awesome games!

P.S. Got my eye on ageofconan.com and Will Wright's 'Spore', they look rad

I get bored with games too easily to stick with one. I played EQ2 for a few months. I like Battlefield, but haven't really put the time in to progress in the game. It takes patience to learn, and it does keep you on your toes. It's a ball!

I play alot of video games. Right now, I am playing the Sims 2, and looking forward to getting the sequel to Guitar Hero.

I would nominate Chibi Robo for Game of the Year. It has to be the cutest game ever made. I like a lot of Nintendo games. They satisfy the inner-child.

I've putzed around on a few MUDs and MOOs, but I prefer the freeform roleplaying of MUCKs best. I was never huge into levels and classes and such.

LOL...you were actually the first person I thought of when I made my post! We have to team up on one of the servers. I usually play on the Pinnacle server but it's been so slow lately. I gave COV a chance but didn't like it as much.

My boyfriend has played them all. The only one that I found interesting enough to try was EQ2, which I got quite addicted to for a few months. Recently, my boyfriend went back to EQ2, so Ive been playing that again, but it isnt really doing that much for me anymore. I tried WoW with him, but I didnt like it.
