    Default GO-GO boots stretch???

    Hi!

SO i wore my brand new white go go knee high boots yesterday. i loved them! HOWEVER - they hurt my feet like hell! like the front part, tottaly squishes my big toe. both of my big toes stil HURT. and the back of the boot was loose...so it was rubbing up and down the back of my feet all night and now i have huge blisters at the end of the night, i was walking aroun like i was drunk or limping!

anyways, so the boot feels kind of small in the front..but the lady at the store said they would stretch(didnt know if i should beileve her or not. so i got them anyway, in hope they would stretch since she did not have a size bigger.

so i really hope go go boots stretch. i think theyre viynl???

THANKS SO MUCH! i hope they do stretch or else im mad at that lady and i have to buy another pair

Usually any pair of shoes will stretch it just takes some time and uncomfortable wear for a while. I would think your go-go boots will stretch if you give 'em some time. They also make shoe stretchers, those might be helpful.

Did u wear socks with your boots? That usually helps prevent blisters from rubbing... and yes, they should stretch once u break them in.

Cover the heel of your boots with moleskin for the time being. It'll help prevent the rubbing and blisters. They'll stretch, just give them time.

To steal from Wiki: "moleskin, originally referring to the short, silky fur of a mole, is heavy cotton fabric. The word is also used for clothing made from this fabric. It is also used in adhesive pads stuck to the feet to prevent blisters." Great stuff for breaking in boots. Doesn't slip or get sweaty.

I was a ballerina. I know blisters. Moleskin is good, BUT moleskin is thick. There is a big ridge from the adhesive moleskin, to your skin. It can be bothersome. If you have sweaty feet, the moleskin wont stick too good.

I always use hocky tape. White hockey tape, cuz the other stuff stains from the heat and moisture of your feet. Hocky tape is great cuz it is made from fabric, so it givesand bends better than lets say a plastic bandaid. Its a hell of a lot more adhesive than any bandaid. The fabric threads almost reinforce your skin so it wont rip.

Many people dont want to put tape on their open blisters. But, you have to. If you try an pad the blister with a bit of cotton, it wont work. The cotton will rub.

If you dont want your white hocky tape glowing, a bit of makeup works excelent.
If your toe nails hurt from a lot of pressure on them, trim them a bit shorter. That should help.
Keep your blisters clean and dry, and mabey wear flipflops for the next few days.
